Chapter 7 (Im So Sorry)

|Hayden POV|

"So, uh, how did you get here Rose?" They shrugged. "Last thing I remember was that I was screaming." I rubbed the back of my neck. We were still in the black room. Since we sat down I started counting. I'm not sure why, I just did. I got to 1,837 before I asked them how she got here. "Hayden?" I turned my head to look at them. "Yeah? What's up?" "I asked you how you got here." I also shrugged. "I passed out after a pastel yellow demon beat the cr@p out of me"  they took a deep breath and exhaled. "I wanna go home to my family..." I nodded in agreement. I'm not sure if they saw that but I didn't care at that point. 

|Stripes POV|

I brushed away the dirt I had brought up to the top of the treehouse. Gabe promised we would become gardeners and I thought it would be fun! "Gabe! There you are!" Gabe nodded and set lilo down so he could finish climbing up. "Hiya Stripes. Sorry I'm a little late. I was looking for Marshy." I turned my head. "Why would Marshy be missing? Isn't she in your head?" He nodded. "Sometimes when she comes to visit she appears in a different spot than my room. It's very rare to happen though." I felt confused myself. I don't know that much about Marshy other than she's Gabes inner demon but I know she doesn't leave Gabe alone for a whole day. "I could try and help you find her.." I offered Gabe shook his head. "You can't even see her..." I thought for a moment. He was right I can see her. "Wait! I can see some of her essence though!" I remembered that was the only way I can see her. Gabe nodded. "That's a pretty good idea." He thought for a moment. "Do you wanna look for her now or do you wanna be gardeners?" I shook my head "let's go find your inner demon!"

|Rose POV|

A roar broke the silence. "What the f_(k?" Hayden stood up. I looked around before standing up after her. "What is that?" I put my hands up to my eyes. A pastel yellow person was slowly walking up to us. "No..no..no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no" Hayden backed away. "What's wrong?" She took deep breaths. "Yellow...demon...." I took a sharp breath in and looked back.

It was gone.

Something stabbed my back. I screamed. I
Hadn't treated the other wounds on my back. "ROSE!" I fell and tried to remain conscious. I tried to knock the thing back but it just dug into my back harder. I felt Hayden trying to get the thing off of my back but it wouldn't budge. Everything started to go black. Not like it wasn't already. I fell into the ground as something plunged through my body.

"Where...where am I...?" I felt a soft hand touch my head. "Wake up Rosemary....." A soft voice told me. It sounded sad. I tried to open my eyes. I looked up.

"Mama...?"

"Hi Rose Dear..."

I cried and hugged her. "Mama, where am I?" Tears landed onto my shoulder. Mama was crying also.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you dear..."
