Aurora Arceli was a witch -if a muggle would hear this, she would surely be burned at the stake but in the wizarding community this was a moment of celebration.
Het parents both muggles were thrilled when they found out how extraordinairy their lit...
There was no doubt that Aurora Arceli was a true hufflepuf. They were only into their first month of the school year and most adored the blonde haired girl. With her soft spoken words and bewitching smile no one expected what she was up to, in the short period of time she had become a honorary member of the marauders.
Sure she wasn't one for pulling pranks but she blew the boys away when she came up with the idea of a map. Now you might think, 'What is so special about a bloody map?', well thank you for asking, it was special because it showed all the hidden passages that she had already found. It was Peter that come up with the idea to show all the people that reside at Hogwarts. So without much further ado, Remus, Sirius and James spend the rest of the evening in the library.
Every passing moment that they didn't have classes, you would find them there, hidden under a pile of books and looks of frustration etched onto their face.
Aurora was onto her way to Charms, her professor Flitwick was the best teacher she had had her entire school career. She would of had made it in time if she didn't run in - or rather through- a sulking but usually mischievous ghost. "Oh hello Pevensky, why are sulking?", the teen asks concerned. Normally he would always pull pranks on other ghosts and sometimes other students, but now it seemed as if all his energy was lost. "The other ghost and students think I'm a joke, no one takes me seriously.", the ghost belts out with a deep frown on his face. "Why do you think that?"
"They think that I can't hear them when their making jokes about my name, but just because I'm dead doesn't mean that I don't have any feelings!"
He was angry -furious even- but what could he do, it wasn't like he could demand their respect. "Well how about a nickname? A name that matches your personality and spunk.", Aurora suggests, she knew how it felt to be ridiculed for your birth name. Pevensky was shocked, no one ever took the time to listen to him, and actually treat his problems as worthy. Bashfully he replies "I've never had a nickname before, oh you dear girl what do you think would suit me?"
The ghost ramble of a couple -of horrendous- nicknames like Pevensky the great, the most mischievous ghost of Hogwarts,... He keeps rambling until Aurora interrupts him "How about Peeves? It's mysterious and sounds like a name for a great joker, just imagine pranking a student and them yelling out Peeves everytime they see you. It would demand their respect."
The ghost was thrilled, Peeves what a great name for a great ghost, he swore to himself that if Aurora ever needed any help with pranking, he could be there for her.
"Best get to class Aurora, it seems as if we talked far too long.", the ghost whispers while trying to push her to the classroom, no way would he let Filch punish her. "Alright and goodbye Peeves, prank a teacher for me, will ya?", she lets out before entering the room.
Flitwick was slightly irritated, he tolerated a lot but he hated it when his students came almost half an hour too late to his class. "Nice of you to finally show up, but unfortunately you'll have too spend your evening here also. Detention at 8 pm, don't be late this time!"
Aurora quickly sat down, the boy with midnight colored hair was grinning behind his hand. The teachers pet had finally messed up, or so he thought. "Couldn't get on the stairs, midget?", Regulus was mean but never would she had expected him to remember her awkward sorting experience where she could barely get onto the chair.
What Regulus didn't realise that he had just made himself into a victim, because no one ridiculed Aurora and got anyway with it.
The blonde was fuming but knew that if she would snark back at him, she would give him what he wanted, so she did the best next thing. She just smiled at him and turned back to her scroll. He didn't expect her smile to be so pretty, her entire face lit up and her eyes would twinkle. Annoyed at his thoughts and the girl sitting next to him, he huffed and turned back to his books.
Aurora had already an idea of what she would do to him and luckily for her, the marauders would also have detention tonight. Oh the stuck up Regulus black had no idea what was waiting for him, or rather for his entire slytherin house. All because he had decided that today was the perfect day to screw up Aurora's day.
