CHAPTER II

Next day at the morning

King Dalbert, Queen Arcelle, and Princess Elleanor are gathered at the dining table of the majestic royal palace for breakfast.

"Listen, I want to ask something." said King Dalbert while staring at Queen Arcelle and Elleanor.

"What's happened ?" Queen Arcelle replied while cutting an apple.

"I want to marry Elleanor to Prince Arvand, son of King Radeven and Queen Megan." said King Dalbert firmly.

Both Queen Arcelle and Elleanor are shocked.

"W- what are you talking about, dad ?! Even dad didn't talk or ask me about this marriage at all." said Elleanor in an angry tone.

"It is mandatory and you must do it, Elleanor." said King Dalbert.

"No, no, I don't want !! I just want to marry the man of my choice." said Elleanor while staring at her dad.

"It's useless you protest, you have to marry to Prince Arvand !! After you get married, our power will be larger, because surely Prince Arvand will give gifts to his wife and family, namely us. King Radeven also promised me that he would give us the power of several cities." said him proudly.

"So, you want to marry off me just for power, right ? Look how bad you are dad!" said Elleanor her with teary eyes.

"Shut up!! Don't you dare to say that again !! Do you have a mirror ? Look at your bad face !! You are lucky there is still a Prince who wants to marry you !!."

Queen Arcelle who keep quite while they're arguing was suddenly shocked with her husband's words and pounded the dining table.

"Stopp it, how dare you insult your own daughter like that !! This is your own daughter, King Dalbert. I don't accept it if you say like that !!" said Queen Arcelle in an angry tone.

King Dalbert left the dining table without saying anything and guilt.

"Elleanor, are you ok ? Don't think about what your dad said. He is just mad."
said Queen Arcelle to make her daughter calm down.

Elleanor just stay quiet while staring her mother with her teary eyes. She stood up and ran to his room.

*Elleanor's bedroom

Elleanor crying badly and locked the door.

"Whyy ? why is this happening to me ? My own dad insult me like that, I'm her daughter !! her own daughter !" said Elleanor while crying and leaning his head against the majestic wall of his bedroom.

5 minutes later Queen Arcelle arrive in front of Eleanor's bedroom

* The sound of knocking on the door

"Elleanor... open the door, please. This is your mom. I beg you, please open the door for me."

Queen Arcelle keeps knocking on the door. Suddenly Elleanor opened the door and Queen Arcelle holding Elleanor's cheeks and say
" Are you ok ?" said Queen Arcelle and pulling Elleanor's hand to sit on the big and sofa beside Elleanor's bed.

"Close the door, please." said Queen Arcelle to the guards in front of Elleanor's room.

The guards closed the door

"You know about this, right ?" said Elleanor while crying badly.

"Please, don't cry my princess. I feel sad if you cry like this." said Queen Arcelle while wipe Elleanor's tears.
"I don't know anything about this, your father didn't talk to me about this at all, and .... " she's silent for a while.

Elleanor just stay quiet and starring her mother with teary eyes.

"And .... your father said to me that you have to get ready, because tonight King Radeven and his family will come to talk about your wedding." said Queen Arcelle in sad tone.

Elleanor suddenly stood up from the sofa

"Is he crazy ? I said I don't want to marry with him !! I just want to marry with my choice." said Elleanor in angry and teary eyes.

Suddenly Elleanor walked towards his bedroom door to get out, but Queen Arcelle hold Elleanor's hand.

"Where you want to go ?" said Queen Arcelle in a high tone.

"Just let me go !! I want to talk with father that I don't want to marry Prince Arvand !!" said her in angry tone.

"What are you doing ?! Believe me, I've spoken to him, but your father still doesn't want to change his decision." said Queen Arcelle.

Elleanor crying loudly in her mother arms

"Why is this happening to me ?? Why, mom ?? Whyy ???" said Elleanor while crying loudly.

"I'm sorry my princess, I'm so sorry I can't fulfill your request this time." said Queen Arcelle regret.
"I'm sorry I have to go now, I have to prepare it." said her while wipe Elleanor's tears.

"Yes, mom. Thank you." said Elleanor with her faint smile.
