Peter was sitting in history class, bored out of his mind. They were talking about the Civil War between the Avengers, but Peter knew all about it since he was literally fighting in it. He discreetly pulled out his phone and started reading Wattpad without the teacher seeing. Sadly, a few minutes later, he was caught.
"Peter!" his teacher yelled angrily. "Since you seem to find your phone more interesting then my class, this means you must know everything about the Civil War." Actually, he did. "So please, tell me which Avengers were in which teams, since you're so smart."
Peter looked up and smirked. "In Team Tin Can, I mean, Team Iron Man, there was obviously Iron Man, Black Widow, Spiderman, War Machine, Black Panther, and Vision. On Team Popsicle... Captain America. On Team Captain America, there was Captain America, Bucky/Winter Soldier/White Wolf, Ant-Man, Falcon, Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch."
The teacher looked surprised that he knew the answer, but quickly shrugged it off and continued the lesson. A few minutes later, she asked another question.
"So, does anyone know why Civil War started?"
Immediately, Flash raised his hands, so she pointed at him.
"Well," he started with a smug look on his face. "the general Ross wanted the Avengers to sign Accords so that the government could control them, and make sure they didn't do as much damage during the battles, and pay for the damage done. They also wanted to approve any mission the Avengers wanted to go on before they actually could, to make sure it wasn't going to cause any problems. Iron Man, Black Widow, War Machine, Black Panther, Spiderman and Vision signed the Accords, however Captain America, Winter Soldier, Falcon, Hawkeye, Ant-Man and Scarlet Witch didn't want to. So they disagreed and fought against each other." Flash finished his explanation with a smirk.
"Exactly Flash, it's good to know that at least someone is paying attention." the teacher flashed a glare at Peter, who was trying his best to hold back his laughter in the back of the class. "What is diverting your attention this time Mr. Parker? What's so funny?"
Peter couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing. Everyone looked at him like he was crazy, except Ned, who knew why Peter was laughing and couldn't help but snicker. Peter's laughter died down after a few minutes and he took deep breaths to calm himself.
"You really believe this is how Civil War started?" he asked the teacher with a raised eyebrow.
"It's not about my beliefs Mr. Parker, this is the truth, and was delivered as the official version of the events."
"It's not because it's official that it's true. The official version of the events after Mr. Stark's kidnapping was that he was on a cruise ship. But he wasn't was he? I mean, it was supposed to be the official version before he revealed he was Iron Man, but you get my point."
All the class was now staring at Peter in interest.
"And what do you believe the real version would be then, Mr. Parker?" the teacher asked, annoyed.
"It's not about my beliefs Miss, this is the truth." Peter replied with a grin. "Mr. Stark ate the last donut with red white and blue sprinkles even though Cap told him it was his. They got mad at each other and bam: Civil War. It was in the middle of a prank war, so it was the teams of the prank war. It was actually supposed to be Shuri instead of T'Challa, but she was busy, I don't remember where, so he took her place so that it would be equal. And for the Accords, everyone hated them, not just Team Cap, so Mr. Stark changed them and everyone agreed. However, T'Challa and Spiderman didn't sign them."
"And how are we supposed to believe this non-sense Peter?" sighed the teacher.
Peter grinned and pulled out his phone. He showed it to the class.
By the end of the video, the whole class was howling with laughter and the teacher looked shocked. They heard a sound near the window and turned towards it. Iron Man was hovering near the window, his face plate up.
"Underoos! I told you not to show anyone that video! How am I supposed to look professional now? Seriously, I came up with that whole Accords thing and you had to destroy it!"
"Sorry Mr. Stark." Peter smiled sheepishly.
"Ugh, whatever. Well, since your class knows now, I'm picking you up after school."
"Mr. Stark, I think I can get faster to the Tower on my own then if you pick me up."
"Is that a challenge?" asked the billionaire, amused. "You're on! See you after school kid!"
