AN: So I've been thinking if I should make Percy a grey character, especially as he gets older. Hear my reasoning out, one he is both a Black and a Slytherin, which means he probably is going to be subjected to Muggle discrimination in the wizarding side constantly throughout the school year, and in the summer he his going to be going to a camp where they focus on the heritage of the gods not the muggles, so he isn't going to be around them. Second, for the sake of the story, lets say that muggles are the same as mortals, this means that Percy isn't even half mortal which takes away any connection he has to them and isn't really going to care about how they are treated as nobody he truly cares about is muggle, especially to the extent to the books. The Percy Jackson series seems to stay the same age bracket per book, however the Harry Potter books seem to get more extreme as the books go on, and since this is the same universe, I think that may happen here as well. And for the fourth reason, his father is Poseidon, who doesn't have the best track record when it comes to morals, since Poseidon is an immortal he doesn't follow the same rules as the rest, and he has the power to back it up. Even in today's society the rich and influential get away with so much more shit than everyone else and Perseus Black is both of those things. Percy also has relationships with the Malfoys and Bellatrix, technically anyway so there is some leeway. Finally since the PJO timeline will still roughly go ahead, Percy would have seen friends and family die, led two wars and go to Hell (maybe or maybe not without Annabeth), and that will be bound to change someone, especially the Hell part cause I think the effects they would have felt is underappreciated in the books. Now Percy will still be loyal to the Weasley's, well most of them, as well as the Tonks family so despite the odds he won't be directly evil. However I kind of want him to walk the line as he gets older, what do you guys think.
