Percy Black: Build up to war

Third time the charm

Percy Pov

You know since the knowledge that I am a demigod has come to my attention; I have made some pretty bad decisions. For example, I decided that I could go one on one with the Chimera (one of the most terrifying and powerful Greek monsters ever) and his mother, I lost by the way. I also decided to go to the underworld and accuse my Uncle of stealing something that he never did, and then politely ask him for my Aunt Narcissa back, he was nice enough to oblige. I also decided to trust that back stabbing son of a bitch Ethan Nakamura who then tried to kill me and pledge his allegiance to my evil Grandfather who is at least 10 times worse than Voldemort and a much, much bigger threat. However, one of the worst decisions I think I might have possibly made, was convincing Lady Hecate to give to pranking sons of Hermes her blessing say they have the ability to use a magic wand.

In the first 10 minutes they got their wands, they gave Mrs Weasley the ears of an Ass, Uncle Ted the snout of a pig (Tonks decided to support her father by matching his nose) and turned Luke into a girl (ok, that last one might have been him but with all the pranking that was going on he couldn't resist, plus it was really funny seeing the twins stutter when Luke asked them to change him back).

"You know with all this power, we don't even need you Percy, we can become the pranking kings of Hogwarts by ourselves" Travis said walking on my left with Connor on the right.

I grinned "So you want to challenge the king of Pranks after he ever so graciously gave you power"

I flicked my wand I said a spell that gave both of them the tail of a pig and the vocal chords of a a cow. Not only was it funny, it also meant that they would stop using magic, temporarily of cause, as the only thing they could say was

"Moooo"

I smirked "Don't challenge the king" and I was about to go a speak to the twins until I heard someone cough from behind.

"Really Percy, they are not even students yet and already a pranking them I see" Professor Dumbledore pointed his wand at them a turned them back into the fully speaking, tailless sons of Hermes that they originally were.

"Thank you, Professor, I don't think are dear cousin over here would have fixed us" Connor said, glaring at him.

Dumbledore smiled "No I don't think he would, anyway Percy if I can talk to you in private for a second, Professor Castellan has your books. We are going to be away for a couple of days and will meet the others back at Kings Cross Station"

"Where are we going sir?" I asked

His eyes sparkled "We are going to make some new friends but first we have some business to attend to at the bank. You probably won't see your cousins till the start of the school year, so if you wish say your farewells now." He went of but was then cornered by a bunch of photographers and wizards and witches asking him to sigh their chocolate frog cards.

"What is the big deal about the Professor anyway? I mean I know he is a great teacher and everything but he has an entire fanbase" Connor asked

"How much did Hecate tell you about the wizarding world?"

"Not a lot, only that it is her pocket world and that it would be wise if we didn't tell anyone that we are demigods who we didn't trust and that we can't tell the others at Camp where we will be." Travis said.

"You should have seen Annabeth's face when Luke told her she couldn't speak to her through IM'ing, she made a face like a cute bulldog" Connor sighed.

I grinned "Of course that is what you pick up on, anyway you know the reason that you are here is to help build relationships between Wizards and Demigods, without any of them knowing..."

"Yeah, for a war that might not even happen, and that we won't have to fight in" Travis interrupted

"Correction, that you won't have to fight in, I am still a fully born wizard and know way too much to be pulled out of the war. Anyway about 45 years ago there was another war. The main guy was a Wizard called Grindelwald, he was a legacy and an extremely powerful wizard. Dumbledore was the one to stop him, that is why he is a celebrity, why people respect him so much. However Grindelwald inspired many people, Harold Lestrange led a revolt in France run by terror and even Clair Black was a famed serial killer running riots around Whitechapel, you may know her as Jack the Ripper"

"Really, Jack the Ripper was a female Witch, and isn't Black your last name?"

"Yeah, it's a touchy subject, anyway the last person who was inspired by Grindelwald was a wizard called Voldemort, he is the demigod son of Circe, which is pretty ironic since, well she is a manhater who has a son." The birth of Voldemort was an interesting topic, apparently Voldemort's mother prayed to Circe that Voldemort's father would love her, Circe felt sorry for her and possessed the mortal/muggle man and then slept with Voldemort's mother with the body of the father.

"And Voldemort is still around"

"Well, not exactly but signs are showing and the last time Voldemort was around they almost lost the war with him, I lost my mother in the war with him. He was last seen around 10 years ago but recently more rumours about his return have been spreading, and the person who defeated him last time is unable to do so at the moment so Dumbledore is the one people look up to"

"That is a lot to take in" Connor said

"Yeah, well, you guys should probable get going, see you at Hogwarts" They both snickered at that

"Yeah, see you later" secretly smirking as I activated the Hex armour they have on making it so they have flowery dressed on.

"PERCY!"

AN: I know, I have kind of neglected this story but I am back (until I decided to fuck off for another 6 months). So, like I said, I don't really want to introduce so crazy plot line so for Percy's third year we will see the behind the scenes of planning the Triwizard tournament, the Wizard world cup and getting the Order of the Phoenix properly running again.

I also don't really do this but the first Percy Black book is getting to 75k reads, which is mental to me, so I would like to personally thank the 75 people who read the book 1000 times, you guys mean the world to me.

I also started planning a new non-Percy Jackson book. It is a DC type book and I just uploaded the first prelude chapter of it, so if that would be awesome if you guys could give it a read. I hope that I will get it to 100 chapters plus and goes through every DC thing I can think of, including the Vertigo comic characters such as Lucifer (not really a DC character but he is in the story anyway), John Constantine (who I think is DC best character by far) and Swamp thing. I haven't really seen a FF which has the Dark Justice League who I think are way better than the JLA so I decided to write one.
