Skip to Friday. I woke up at exactly 5:00 am because we supposedly have to be there at 7:00 am for the ducks practice. I was nervous but excited I finally get to play hockey again. "Mom I'm going to the ducks practice with Connie" I said "okay honey be safe" mom said and I left. I went to knock on connie's door "hello" I said Ellie opened "hello sweetheart connie's coming down!" Ellie said "oh ok thank you" I said and smiled. About 10 minutes past until Connie came down she looked so beautiful with her hair in a braid but enough of that. "Ready to go?" Connie said "yea" I said "let's go" Connie said. We both skated to the ice rink (y'all before I say this I don't know a lot about hockey so if I'm wrong please correct me 😭). We got to the ice rink. I looked around nervously "hey" Connie said and grabbed my hand "it's fine they'll like you" she said and smiled which made me smile to. She finally let go and skated with the ducks she whispered to them and they all starred at me. It was an awkward silence until the coach decided to break it. "Okay everybody I'm gonna go talk to y/n uh laps" (I'm sorry idk). Coach skated to me "hello y/n" coach said "hello" I said back "so Connie told me you were into hockey and you were looking for a team" coach said "yea I am actually" I said "well we need a new player and you would be a perfect match" coach said "oh uhm thank you!" I said "so you in?" Coach said "of course" I said "great Gordon Bombay by the way" Gordon said and put his hand out "thanks" I said and shook his hand "DUCKS COME HERE" Gordon said all of them skated to us "yes coach" a kid with blonde hair said "we have a new player with us y/n y/l/n" Gordon said "hi" I said nervously they all looked at me "hi I'm charlie what's your na-" Charlie said but Jesse stoped him "putting on a duck jersey doesn't mean your a real duck" Jesse said with a dirty look "did I say I was?" I said with attitude he just stared at me angrily but I didn't really care "uhm okay let's just cancel practice and tomorrow we will come again" Gordon says "sure" I said still staring at Jesse "ok uhm dismissed" Gordon said I grabbed my stuff and left quickly I hated them already well except Connie "y/n" I heard. I turned around and saw Connie "oh hi Connie" I said "hello y/n can I walk with you?" Connie said "of course" I smiled "great. Hey I'm sorry about Jesse he can be a little....uh" "bitchy?" I said she looked at me and laughed "I guess" she said and I smiled "well h/n here we are thank you" Connie said "your welcome" I said and mailed she gave me a hug and left "I love you Connie......" I said and walked to my house.
