After a couple of months, Red finally decided to head to the Hoenn region to continue his adventures. He was getting ready to board a ship, as he said one last time, "Goodbye Kanto. Goodbye home......" He got on the ship and headed inside one of the rooms. He stared outside of the window and started thinking about what this new region would be like. In the next room over, a group of 3 was traveling to Hoenn as well.
Their names were Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont. Bonnie is Serena's younger sister, Clemont is a gym leader, and Serena is a Pokémon performer. Serena was not in her usual happy mood. She was still heartbroken about Ash Ketchum. A boy that Serena had feelings for. She missed him but knew Ash had no feelings for her whatsoever. "Still a bit upset about ash?" Both Bonnie and Clemont asked kindly. Serena sighed sadly. "Yeah..... Hopefully, I can find someone else...." The ship came to a stop after a few hours, and everyone was grabbing their bags, leaving the ship.
Red, not paying any attention, bumped into Serena by accident, causing the both of them to fall. "Ow... Sorry, ma'am. I should be more......" Red suddenly stopped talking, and looked at Serena for a bit, and could not help but blush a little. Serena did the same thing. They both looked embarrassed, and an awkward silence filled the air for a minute or two. "Sorry!" Red said kindly. "Um, do you 3 know your way around Hoenn by any chance?" "Yup!" the 3 replied. They all got off the ship, introduced each other, and red kindly asked, "Is it ok if I travel along with you?" They all said yes, and a new adventure for Red was about to begin.
