100 years in advancement. Vampires were now accepted into society. They had blood donation places, places where they made, yes made blood. They made sun protections, and well maybe also pills for them to resist Garlic? Nate wasn't taking any chances though. He was simply walking into the main blood clinic, the bell above the door jiggling causing a brunette to pop up from behind the counter as he smiled at the male.
"Hello Nate!" He said cheerfully
"Hey Zach." Nate said semi blandly as he looked at the male.
"Bad day?" He asked looking at the vampire. "Something like that. Few humans were coming after me for a bit."
Zach frowned. There were still loads of people that hated the fact that vampires were now accepted in their society. They saw it as "inhumane", seeing vampires as blood thirsty monsters. While yes, some did go rabbit and attacked, they happened rarely."What was it for?" Zach asked looking at the male. Nate only shrugged. "Hell if I know. Could've been because I was walking on the sidewalk with them." Nate's red serpent like eyes met Zach's as the younger male sucked in his cheeks. "Well...uh...how big of a bag you want today?"
"Regular will be fine." Nate replied pulling out a twenty and sliding it over the counter to Zach who took it."Well uh...it's not fair you get treated like crap..." Zach said softly handing Nate fifteen dollars in change. Nate took the money folding it putting it back in his pocket as he shrugged. "M used to it. I'm a vampire. For centuries my kind fucked with yours." The way he spoke sent a shiver down Zach's spine.
"L...let me go grab your bag..." Zach said quietly trying to hide his blush as he rushed off in the back room and into the freezer. Zach back his face lightly ringing red as seeing Nate's back to the counter as he was leaning against it.
"N..Nate I...I have your blood." Zach said softly as the vamp turned his head and gave Zach a side smile putting his phone away as he took the bag from the male. "Thank you, Zach." Nate said staring at the males face.
"And you might wanna get a heater if it that's cold." He nods to the males lightly red tinged cheeks. And with that Nate left the store the human watching him with a daydream filled face.
It was dusk and Zach was on his phone as the bell above the door jingles causing him to look up expecting to see his cover for his shift but the smell of fresh blood was the first that hit him causing his face to grow pale as he got a better look. It wasn't anyone that worked here...and well. Judging from the glowing serpent eyes, Zach would dead within minuets. "Fancy...seeing you working here... Zach."
