-later that month (June 2019)-

This was it, graduation week, the last week of June. On the 29th was the senior feast hosted by the royals in honor of the seniors, and the 30th was the official graduation, where the seniors would walk across the stage and be handed their diplomas from FG. Then later that day a grand ball would be held for the seniors at Beasts palace, where they could dance and party the night away. And then the next day would be the day the applications would be picked up for the first time.

Evie looked around her room, biting her thumbnail as she looked around her room that was beginning to be packed up. It was...odd to look at it all, three and a half years ago she had arrived at Auradon prep with no idea of what her future would be. she thought the next day would be with her mother, free from the isle and Auradon burning to the ground behind them.

But now? She has a completely different path, no longer the path of darkness and revenge, but of light and fashion. She had made an entire line of fashion for Auradon spring, and it had boomed, she had sold out on her line in just a week and made double the amount of money she made in three months within that week.

Evie sighed, letting her arms fall to her side as she looked around the room once more, Auradon prep had become a home to her, the first place she had felt truly safe in her entire life. And now, she was leaving it all behind. At least she didn't have to be scared of where she would go, she had already bought the large cottage/starter castle on the border of the enchanted forest, it wasn't furnished yet but it was ready for Evie and Doug to move into after graduation.

Evie had made sure to buy a house with extra rooms just in case any of her friends needed a place to stay, and she was glad she did because Mal and Jay were actually needing a place to stay until they went to college, Mal to Corona art university, and Jay to the Sherwood forest university.

Evie shook her head gently and pumped herself up as she walked over to her sewing machine and sat down, grabbing Mal's graduation gown for the senior ball and beginning to work. The ball was only a few days away and Mal's dress was the last to be finished, and then Evie would be done with all her orders and requests and could relax until she set up shop at her new house.

As she worked, Carlos entered with Dude close behind. He went silent as he saw Evie working and grinned, tip-toeing behind her and raising his arms, waiting until Evie had no sharp objects in her hands before striking.

"BOO!" Evie let out a short high-pitched squeal and turned, smacking her fist against the space where Carlos just was, who had lept back as soon as he grabbed Evie's shoulders to scare her.

"Carlos!" Evie chided, glaring at her friend as he doubled over in laughter. She sighed and shook her head with a smirk, going back to finishing the hem on Mal's dress as Carlos sat on the other side of the table, watching her work as Dude hopped into his doggy bed Evie had made him after Carlos had 'adopted' him. "Oh, Carlos? I still haven't heard from you on what you wanted for your suit for the senior ball?" Carlos smiled and shook his head.
"Not going" Evie snapped her head up, wide-eyed.
