Honey's PoV

I was just reading my favourite book habang weekend at walang klase when the doorbell rang.

I stood up since wala namang ibang kikilos dito kundi ako.

I peeked in the door hole to see kung sino yung dumating and I was surprised to see a bouquet instead

Napangiti ako and even with knowing who it was I teased him

"Sino yan?"

"Uhm..." he spoke and brought down the flowers kaya nakita ko yung gwapo niyang mukha habang nakahawak sa batok niya

"Why are you being so shy all of a sudden? Haha" sambit ko as I opened the door

"H-hi!"

"Yes Mr. Suitor? Please come in haha"

"Will it be okay?"

"Of course. Ako lang nandito"

"T-then I shouldn't be here"

"Ano ka ba? I'm mature enough to know when a guy is not good for me to be with. Isa pa bahay ko to madaming kutsilyo dito"

I saw his eyes enlarge sa sinabi ko so I tapped his shoulders

"Just come in haha. We're fine"

"O-ok"

I guided him towards the sofa at dumirecho sa kusina to serve him some drinks

"Nasan mga kasama mo? If I may ask that?"

I smiled slyly with his question. Okay naman na sigurong sabihin ko to sa kanya since he started courting me already

"Wala sila"

"Huh? May pinuntahan?"

"Oo. Dun oh" sambit ko sabay turo sa langit

"W-wait."

I looked down and spoke up about it after so long to someone

"My mom died giving birth to me. Si papa naman whom I grew up most with, passed away even before I fulfilled my promise to him na magiging doktor ako kagaya niya"

"Sorry..."

"You shouldn't be. Besides matagal na din nung may nakwentuhan ako sa magulang ko"

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Mahirap walang magulang pero syempre pinanghahawakan ko yung pangako ko na magiging doktor kaya ginagawa ko lahat para matupad yun"

"Kaya pala I see you so eager in all the things you do"

"Yep. That's my goal haha"

"I found you so attractive doing so..."

"Actually..."

"Hmm?"

"I found you as an inspiration lalo na nung hirap ako sa sitwasyon ko"

"A-ako?" He replied in a shocked voice

"I smile all of a sudden just knowing things about you. Alam mo yun? You became a sunshine to me"

"Teka lang. Ako yung nanliligaw dito di ba?"

"I don't flatter you haha. Totoo sinasabi ko. I want to focus on my goal for my father and you're helping me do so and I thank you for that. Pero syempre when you started showing interest to me, nung una natakot ako kasi alam mo yun baka mawala ako sa focus pero walang talab yung taray ko sayo haha. You even stayed true to your words when I told you not to bother me during exam week"
