An Old Friend

Chapter Four

Hoggy Hogwarts 

Eleanora's POV

It's finally time for Severus and I to assume our teaching roles at Hogwarts. Severus, to say the least, is not excited.

"I will never understand why I agreed to take this position. I can already hear those whining brats." Severus continues to rant, but I tune him out again. I wonder which classroom I'll get. How am I going to decorate? Should I be the dungeon bat's evil queen while I'm there? Maybe I should go with the easy going carefree vibe. Dolores will be there so I should probably give the kiddos a break by being a little more lax.

"El... El.. Eleanora!" I jump out of my thoughts. "Have you heard a thing I've said?"

"Of course my love. You were bitching about the little shits you teach every year and honestly it was giving me a headache, so I zoned out." Severus huffs in annoyance as I chuckle at his obvious foul mood. "Come here darling." I beckon the brooding man to sit beside me on the sofa. Instead he lays down placing his head in my lap. Out of habit my fingers go straight for his hair gently running them through. He let out a content sigh and nuzzled his head deeper into my lap.

"I can feel the tension radiating off of you. You have to relax before you give yourself a stroke or something."

"You know what would help me relax?", he suggested while wrapping his arm around my back pulling himself closer to me.

"Is that so? Well it's too bad we are due at Hogwarts", pausing to check my watch, "well right now actually." Severus groans and stands up, turning around to pull me off the couch. After I stand up he wraps me in his arms laying a quick kiss on my head.

"Ready to return to my personal hell?" A chuckle and nod from me later and we were apparating to Hogwarts. Landing down in Albus' office we head out to the beginning of the year faculty meeting. When we walked into the meeting room all eyes turned to us. I caught Minerva's eye giving her a small smile and a head nod in greeting. Albus interrupts our silent conversation by clapping his hands together.

"Well it's about time you two showed up!" Albus attempts to joke further souring Severus' mood. "Let's get to it, shall we?" A few nods and mumbles of agreement later we get our meeting started. After taking our seats I placed my hand on Sev's leg in a soothing manner and he threw his arm on the back of my chair switching from playing with my hair to brushing his fingers up and down my arm.

Albus finally finished the meeting and we all started heading out. "Eleanora could I speak with you for a moment?" I gave Sev's hand a quick squeeze and turned back to wait for the room to clear out completely. "I assume you will be staying in Severus' chambers?"

"You would be correct, but something tells me this is not why you asked me to stay back."

"Yes, our new defense against the dark arts professor is being chosen by Cornelius. I've had a few run ins with her before and I fear this school year may be a little tense."

"Ah yes I do believe he chose Dolores Umbridge, I'll keep my eyes open."

"Yes and thank you Eleanora. Now if you will excuse me, I'm sure you can find your way around."

"Certainly." I nod and start the long trek down to Sev's office. Finally reaching the dungeons I push his office door open stopping in my tracks at the sight before me. Severus was sitting behind his desk and standing behind him was Lucius Malfoy with his hands placed on Sev's shoulders. Both of them jumped at my arrival. I smirked, "hello Luc.". I shut the door and met Lucius halfway where he wrapped me in a hug.

"It's been a while El.", he squeezes me a little tighter and sways us a bit.

"It has been, what was going on in here?", I look up in time to see Severus shift slightly as his face reddens a little. Lucius chuckles releasing me from his comfortable hold.

"I was only helping him relieve some of that tension you wouldn't help him with earlier." Lucius says sending me a quick wink.

"H- He was just getting a kn- knot out of my shoulders!", Sev defends quickly, reddening further. I chuckle at Severus' obvious discomfort and make my way over gently placing a kiss on his lips, deepening it just enough to get a groan from Severus effectively teasing the Malfoy watching my every move.

"Severus, dear, do not act as if I have not caught you two before." Sev shifts again causing Lucius to chuckle. I sat back on Sev's desk pulling his chair to sit between my legs. I begin to massage his head while he is distracted Lucius makes his way behind Sev to start on his shoulders again. Sev tenses as Lucius' hands touched his shoulders I leaned up and captured his lips with mine as Luc leans down to tell Severus to relax. Eventually Severus completely relaxes and the tension leaves his body. With one last squeeze of Sev's shoulders and a brief kiss to his neck Lucius leans back.

"As much as I would love to extend my stay, I must be on my way. It might be a little suspicious for me to be at Hogwarts too long plus Narcissa and Draco are expecting me."

"Send them my love." Sev nods along with my dismissal of Lucius. After a quick kiss to my head Lucius heads for the door to take his leave. "We should get some rest, I have to work on my classroom and lesson plans tomorrow." Sev nods again still in his relaxed state. Once he moves his chair back I stand up and grab his hand pulling him along behind me to our room. Severus was still in a slight daze so I helped him undress. Once we were both ready for bed, I pulled back the blankets and beckoned Sev to get in. Turning off the lights I climb in the bed and tuck Severus into me. After kissing his head and whispering a good night, I pull Sev's head closer to my chest and rest my head just above his, my chin being tickled by his hair every so often. Both of us quickly fall into a comfortable sleep, knowing tomorrow marks the start of the madness.
