Jaemin and Tess Meet

Tess is a first year college student who has been bullied her whole life because of her disability, and is still being bullied even in college. Well what type of disability does Tess have you ask? Well let's have Tess answer that for you.

"My name is Tess and I'm a first year college student and I have a hearing disability. I was not born this way, I actually lost my hearing at a very young age." says Tess. "I have three men who bully me in this school and they're on the football team their names are Jeno, Mark and Jisung." Just seconds later after mentioning them Tess hears one of their voices call out "Hey tone deaf!" She tries to escape out of there as fast as she can but she didn't make it far until they caught up with her. "What do you jerks want?!" says Tess. "What did you just call us?!" said Mark, "yeah that's right look down and don't you call us that ever again" says Mark pushing Tess into the wall next to her. Not being able to handle it anymore Tess let's out a scream saying "LEAVE ME ALONE!" "Why, what are you gonna do? Run to Professor Huang crying?" says Jisung. Tess runs off into tears as the three boys are laughing and with Jisung saying "I knew she was gonna do that!" Tess makes it to the bathroom and falls to the floor and her friend was in there and saw the her crash. "TESS!!!! What happened?!" says y/n. "Was is those three jerks again?" Tess continues crying harder trying to talk but she could only let out one word "Die" says Tess. Y/n replies frantically "DIE?! NO! You can't! No! Let me help you up and wash your face and get you out of here!" Y/n then helps Tess off the bathroom floor, washes her face, and escorts her out of the school. Frantically running back inside she runs to the counselor letting her know what happened to Tess and she was willing to let Tess take a break. Y/n stayed by Tess' side for a few days until she got better so that she wouldn't do anything stupid.

ONE WEEK LATER

Its been one week and the bullying is still happening to Tess. "Keep looking down and ignore everyone" says Tess in her thoughts. Later she felt a grasp on her arm and without turning around she says in tears "What do you jerks want from me? Why do you like torturing me and making my life miserable?!" And with that a voice she never heard before says "What do you mean I make your life miserable" Turning around in shock Tess wipes her tears and says "I'm so sorry!" "Don't be" says the unfamiliar voice "I know what you have been going through" "H...how do you know?" says Tess "Don't worry about that right now" says the unfamiliar voice "Let me introduce myself, my name is Jaemin! What about yours?" Still in shock Tess replies "Uh...Tess....but aren't you that trainee in third year, what are you doing here with a first year loser like me?" "Hey! You're not a loser! Don't say that!" says Jaemin. "But...." says Tess trying to get something about but Jaemin stops her in her tracks. "Don't say another word." says Jaemin as he walks off patting Tess on the head. "What....was that....?" says Tess as she thinks it's a dream until 2 hours later.

2 HOURS LATER

"Oh look! It's tone deaf again!" says Jeno. "What do they want now?!" says Tess angrily. "Yo guys look at her, she's so pathetic she can't lift up her head anymore" says Mark "Hey tone deaf look at me!" With no movement from Tess, Mark angrily smacks the books out of Tess' hands and Tess bends down in tears trying to pick them up until she hears a voice saying "Can I help you?" She looks up slightly, "This voice is a familiar and these hands...Ive seen these hands..." she looks more "JAEMIN!" she screams internally with tears still running down her face. With a scoff Jisung says "What are you?! Her brother?!" With a chic and aggressive reply Jaemin says "No, but I do know how to make you guys suffer!" The three boys then turn around whispering and not even a single glance back. After they left Jaemin quickly turns around and kneels on the ground to help Tess gather her books as he worriedly says "Are you okay?! Did they hurt you?!" With a sad and soft reply Tess says "I...I'm fine" "But look at you, you don't look fine" says Jaemin chicly. Jaemin hands out a couple tissues to Tess for her to wipe her tears and Jaemin continues to speak. "From now on, you need to be by my side, everywhere I can see you." says Jaemin, "B...but what about your classes?" says Tess. "Pffffft my classes? What classes? I skip them all the time, instead I'm gonna go to your classes" Jaemin says acting cool. Before Tess could say anything Jaemin grabs Tess' arm and drags her somewhere quiet. "You asked me how I knew you were having a hard time right?" says Jaemin, "Y...yes" says Tess. "Well as you know I'm pretty popular and I'm only a trainee but I still have my secrets, you see this place right here, this is my quiet spot." says Jaemin, "I come here to relax and somehow those three jerks manage to find you right in this exact spot and they're so loud I can't just ignore it" "So what are you saying?" says Tess. "I'm saying, I've been keeping an eye on you and when I saw you run off the other day my blood was boiling and I haven't seen you since." says Jaemin "There now you know, now before you're late let's get to your class" Tess was remained speechless and doesn't know what to say. Ever since then Jaemin and Tess continue to stay by each other's side and Jeno, Mark and Jisung never bothered Tess again. Also, since they were always together Tess and Jaemin gathered feelings for each other but neither of them knew because they were scared they would lose in the end. For now, they stick as friends and Jaemin continues to protect Tess from everyone who gets in her way.
