Chapter 9: C-rank mission

   "I'm in, and I have to admit, their security is kinda shitty here."

  Currently Nerida and Daphne snuck into an underground area of the village where Daphne discovered the scroll from their world, After Nuri tracked down the scent of the deslocated are, they came across some kind of jutsu or seal behind a dense part of the wall and used their magic to undo the seal on the rock into a passage way and closing it behind them.

  Daphne then pulled out a clear bottle potion filled with clear liquid, "Drink this, I made an invisible potion. It should last us for about two hours, but don't talk. Just use telepathy."

Nerida noded and took the potion and opened the cork off and gave it a good wiff. Nothing. Nerida raised it like it was a glass of wine, "Cheers, to being a ghost again."

  Daphne chuckles and clinked her bottle to Nerida's.

Nerida drank the potion in one setting and felt her body turning a transparent and looks at Daphne who was completely invisible.

  Nerida pouted and quickly casts a spell that only she could see Daphne.

  Nerida hummed in satisfaction, "That's better.."

  Then the two nymphs swiftly leaped above ground and looked down to see two ninjas with strange masks wearing a light armor and a katana on their backs.

'Daph heads up, two guards infront, 12 o'clock low.'

  'I got them N.'

  Nerida looks infront of her and sees Daphne wearing the same black clothing covering her from head to toe, everything was visible minus her eyes like Nerida. Daphne was just above the guards and took out her bottle of sleeping dust and sprinkled it on top of the two guards. The last sprinkle of dust fell as Daphne retreated back and the two froze like a statue, not a sound or a movement was made.

  One of the guards yawned and slumped down instantly falling asleep, followed by the second guard.

  'Easy as suncakes!' Nerida and Daphne floated down landing with no sound and quickly ran inside the small tunnel and see's many doors in their directions.

Nerida silently mutters, "You've got to be cursing me right now.."

"'aph, please tell me you know which door that had the scroll...'

"'on't worry I marked which door I found it in.'

Daphne brought out a small diamond charm and it glowed into an unknown direction infront of them.

Nerida smiles and pats Daphne on the shoulder, 'What would I do without you princess?'

'You would have been dead multiple times sweetheart~'

  'Oho really? But I believe that I saved your ass more than you've saved mine.'

Daphne rolls her eyes and punched Nerida on her shoulder who tries to not make a sound of pain from the attack.

    Nerida rubs her shoulder and glares at Daphne who just smugly looks at her and walks away fake whistling.

  'Ζυγαριά!'

  'Whatever..' Nerida follows Daphne and looks around the area and feels something off, the sound of silence rings loudly in her ears and the dark hallway didn't make anything better.
