Miu and Kiibo preoccupied Kokichi the day before, so he sat on his bed looking through his phone to see nothing. Well, nothing of importance. It looks like somebody is blocking him from learning about some things and the thought of that annoys him. He looked at the texts he could look at.

None of his contacts are blocked it just looks like he hasn't spoken to them in months. When he tries to send something to them an error message pops up. The only messages who aren't blocked are Kiibo and Miu's. The internet seems mostly blocked from the phone, and trying to search in the name "Danganronpa" seemed to just make his phone crash. He sighed and left the room.

Kiibo and Miu had gone back to their houses after dropping Kokichi off. He wasn't a baby but he appreciated the thought. He got a text from Kiibo as he poured cereal into a bowl

He huffed. Poured in milk, then threw his spoon half-hazardly splashing it a bit. "oops" He muttered in a hushed tone, then texted back.

why do you have to tell me

You're not allowed to leave the apartment without adult supervision.

BUT I AM AN ADULT ASSHOLE

Kokichi finished his breakfast and piled it in the sink for him to do later. He went over to his couch and fell onto it. There's not even anything for him to do in this stupid tiny apartment why did Miu and Kiibo leave him here alone?

He stretches his arms and legs out, then turned over onto his back.

Kokichi looks all over the internet trying to find out what happens in this stupid show, or who was in it. But can only find stuff of the blue haired-

"Wait-" He sat up immediately. He tried to look back to the one boy he remembered when he woke up the last morning and they looked,, similar? "I can't remember his face god damnit." Kokichi sighed, their hairstyles looked similar though. Maybe he watched the show before whatever happened to him that landed him in the hospital. It seemed plausible?

But looking at the other two characters showcased, they don't looks as familiar. Well they do, but Kokichi can only guess that's because he watched the show.

Thinking about it, the one guy in the park looked similar to the boy he remembers. "Did Miu just crush my dreams of meeting my favorite celebrity?" He scoffed, sure this him doesn't care but how would he have felt if he had all his memories!? How inconsiderate of her.

Kokichi looked to his windows but was blinded by the sun. Maybe he should go for a walk.

He got up and went to get ready quickly.

Walking around the area, he feels more confident about it than he did the day before. He can recognize stuff now and it doesn't just seem like a fever dream.

"hey! Kokichi is that you?" he jumped at his name

"yeah!" he happily laughs and the person hugged him

"I was so worried about you! It's good to see you're recovering fine."

Kokichi got confused for a moment, then remembered he was probably in the hospital for months, "It's nothing for the Ultimate Supreme-!" Supreme,, Supreme what? He cut himself off with a confused expression and his friend laughed.

"oh well, the others will be happy to see that you're the same as ever!"

Kokichi smiled, "yeah,," what was he going to say? Whatever.

"They've been so worried, I told them that nothing bad was going to happen with all the doctors and everyone watching after you!" they paused for a moment, "hey do you wanna move somewhere more private?"

They both realized they were just standing in the middle of the sidewalk, "Yeah, we should probably go to a cafe or something." Kokichi commented

"ohh! Follow me!! It's been a while since you've had your favorite cafe's foods right? We should go!" They started walking together.

Favorite cafe?? Kokichi hated not knowing things. "Hey, by the way,," Kokichi started, his friend looked back at him expectingly. "What's your name? I'm not trying to be rude I just haven't been able to remember much since,," since what? "since the accident?"

The mood instantly dropped, his friend started walking again looking at Kokichi to follow them. "You're joking right? That's,, not a funny joke" They laughed.

Kokichi shook his head. "No, sorry. I only remember two or three people. Let alone my family." He sighed, "The hospital didn't tell me anything before I left, they only told me where I was staying."

His friend watched him as he spoke, there was a guilty expression on his face. "I don't know why they did that. And now two of my friends are babysitting me! They're acting like everything's okay." He didn't finish the rest of what he was going to say.

"I see." His friend didn't say much more. "Either way, I'm Kyo! I hope you remember me more soon." they laughed, "The others will still be happy to know you're doing okay, physically. And I know you'll beat yourself up over stuff like this, but don't worry. You have as much time as you need to recover!"

They made it to the cafe.

"Would you mind explaining some of the other things we did? Or my friends you keep mentioning? How I acted before even?"

"Not at all!" Kyo chuckled, "I'll have to tell the others about your, memory problems. But I'm sure you'll remember everything soon and things'll go back to normal!"
