Determined - Ciel - third person
It was the Seventeenth of December, there was still lots of snow all over. It was blistering cold out there, one step outside and you'd be layered with a cool frost from winters chill wind. However, a small boy wrapped in a thin layer of clothing had decided to make his way outside and into the cold despite that fact.
"I am heading out now" the boy said as he made his way to the front door of his warm home. "Have a good day Ciel, good luck!" He heard his mother call behind him as she shut the door on his way out. His new school was in that of walking distance so he needn't waste gas on getting driven to school every day.
Ciel sighed as he pulled his dark grey scarf over his chin and nose to keep his face warm. Although the scarf didn't cover some parts of his cheeks and his eyes it still kept it warm for the most part. 'I wish I didn't have to go to school' Ciel thought bitterly 'this is going to be too dreadful'
Ciel made his way to his new school, Weston High, it was only three - four blocks away from his home. The walk was silent and lonely, except Ciel was almost always alone so lonely is really an understatement in his book. Being alone was one of Ciel's hobbies per se, it gave him time to think and time to relax.
"Watch it kid" a black haired male grunted as he was bumped into by the small boy. "umph" Ciel snorted as he was knocked onto the cold pavement of the sidewalk. The taller male held a hand out as if saying 'you bumped into me but hey, I'll help you up' which confused Ciel as he had never had anyone help him like this.
"Are you going to take it?" Ciel's eyes widened and he nodded, grabbing the strangers hand and allowing him to help Ciel up. "S-sorry" he stuttered. 'Damn it, stuttering?!' "It's alright. Just next time, you should watch who your bumping into. I'm Sebastian Michaelis by the way" 'Sebastian' smirked slightly.
"Oh.. I am Ciel Phantomhive" Ciel turned and began to walk to the school again so he could still make it on time. "I have no time for a conversation so I must be off. Goodbye, Michaelis" 'No time for strangers I have to get there early.' the smaller boy hurriedly walked to his school, shrugging off the yelling teen behind him. "Wait!" Sebastian yelled behind Ciel but he was ignored.
Ciel pulled open the double doors at the front of the school, sighing dramatically as he entered. His face was tinted a pinkish color from the cold wind that was nipping his pale skin.
"Hello Ciel, Welcome to our school!" The vice Principle of the school exclaimed happily. Ciel's eyes rolled before he spoke with fake enthusiasm, "..thank you!" The Principle was wearing a light purple and white dress with her short white hair tucked behind her ears. "I am your vice Principal, Angela. I will have a tour show you to your classes shortly so wait here" Angela said, leaving Ciel by the main office.
Ciel sat down on a comfy green chair in the office like he was instructed. No one who entered the room noticed the small boy waiting by the door for his 'guide'. Ciel sighed deeply as he awaited the other students arrival.
'What will the other students be like, I wonder. Will they be rowdy and loud or will they pay attention and have it quiet in class all the time? What will the teachers be like? Will students make fun of my eyepatch? Will they notice the eyepatch??' Thought Ciel. He began to grow impatient and started to play with the hem of his vest.
The uniforms they wore were a navy blue color, the boys had a choice of black shorts or dress pants with a deep blue vest over top a white undershirt. The vest, of course, had the schools crest in silver sown on the left side at the top. The females wore black knee-high skirts, also with a vest and undershirt. And of course the shoes, the males had black dress shoes and flats for the females.
