Mysterious Teen (Ciel x Sebastian)

Chapter 2

Ciel's small sleeping form was suddenly awoken by his butler Tanaka as he entered the small fort room. "Tanaka? Why are you in my fort this early?" The man, still standing by the door, bowed as he mumbled an apology. "Your parents wish to see you"

'I wonder why so early in the morning though..' "Yes, alright, tell them I'll be down soon" Ciel stood from the comfort of his bed and got dressed in his Friday attire. Tanaka bowed once again before taking off.

The boy soon sat down on the large green arm-chair in the living room in front of where his parents were seated. "May I ask why I was called down so early?" Ciel looked upon his mother then his father, searching them for answers.

"But of course," Ciel's father started. "We would just like to announce that we are going to go on vacation and we will arrive in London once again in the next week" he nodded then sighed, knowing he'd be left home alone with just Tanaka.

"Alright. But before you depart I would like to announce some information you may not have known before now" the couple opposite of him looked at each other before looking at their son, father with an amused expression. "Ready to prove me wrong already, my son?"

Ciel chuckled lightly, a small smile on his lips. "No, not exactly" his father raised a thin eyebrow. "Oh?" "I was wondering if you knew Sebastian was adopted by his current 'father'? I'm sure his former father was surely not of bad intentions" the boy started to grin smugly as his arms crossed themselves over his small
chest.

A smirk began to form on his fathers features as he was becoming amused, yes very amused indeed. "Yet the one who has been taking care of him, the father whom adopted him, is evil and has cursed intentions." Ciel's father crossed his leg over the other, smiling at his quiet wife who seemed to just be drinking tea.

"He is already quite grown up" his father mumbled. "Well? What will you do with this information father?" Ciel asked as he silently rose to his feet. Ciel's father stood as well, sticking a hand out to his son. "Your doing well on your investigation, Ciel" the boy twitched as he shook his fathers hand, noting the elder seemed to avoid answering the boys question and ending the conversation there. It's not like he was going to start it up again.. For he had no need.

The two shook gently before pulling their hands away from each other. His parents knew they were in danger so they were going to lead themselves away form their only son for a week to keep him safe, for that's the cover for the sudden vacation anyways.

"Thank you.. Father, I will be off now" Ciel turned and left the dinning room to go exit the building. Tanaka brought his school bag to him and gently put the strap over his right shoulder. It was slowly beginning to get warmer outside, the sun was coming out from behind the clouds and shining brightly, brilliantly defining all of Ciel's delicate skin in the shimmering glow.

"Good morning Ciel, did you sleep well?" He already knew who the deeper voice belongs to, it was owned Sebastian. "A fine morning it is, Sebastian, my night went well. Like usual. How was yours?" Saying his night went well could've been a lie if it weren't for the damn butler waking him up earlier then usual.

"It was splendid, I slept peacefully. Did you say anything to your parents?" Ciel looked over at the teen and nodded as the two walked up the stairs to the schools double doors. "Yes actually. My father seemed to be impressed" Sebastian smiled his usually sadisticly smug smirk as he held the doors open for the smaller boy. "Oh?" Ciel walked through and headed toward the English hall.

"He said I was doing well on my 'investigation' as he called it. I plan to do even better then I am within the next week considering my parents are going on vacation, starting today. They shall be back around next Friday I do believe"
