Ace wasn't really fond of how his daughter kept on talking about this cookie that his daughter seems to be smitten on for a month now. Cookie was always the topic talked about the two of them when they're together for his daughter, Siena, was always full of enthusiasm when she's the subject.
"Daddy, are you listening to Siena?" The little girl asks as she pokes her daddy's cheek.
"Yes, angel. Daddy is listening." Ace wipes the corner of Siena's mouth as the little one smiles, happy that her daddy is indeed listening like how she wants him to.
For a piece of information, Cookie was introduced to Siena by Ace's sister, Irene. Since Ace was busy with work, Irene spent her time with Siena along with cookie. There wasn't really a major problem but Ace is just worried for Siena. The fact that he never even got the chance to meet this cookie bothers him.
When dinner was done, Ace cleaned the table and washed the dishes. Of course, Siena was there to help him just like always. Even though Siena is just four-years old, she learns fast and already knows how to think like she's two years older than her actual age.
Though some four-year olds are learning more from their parents, Ace's ability on teaching Siena was great enough for the little one to immediately absorb. So the little angel was the top in their class last time. Considering the fact that it's June — summer, Siena is learning more and more from the people that surrounds her — Daddy, Daddy's bestfriend, Aunt Irene, and also Cookie.
"Thank you for helping Daddy, angel." Ace says giving Siena a gentle kiss on the forehead as he tucks the angel to bed.
Looping her arms around her Daddy's neck, Siena smiles. "Siena also helps cookie when she needs me, Daddy!"
Even though Ace hears cookie almost everyday, he never gets tired of hearing his angel's adorable adventures every after her hang outs with Irene and cookie. Siena always tells her daddy stories that ends up making her dad smile because of how adorable the little angel is.
"Daddy said that I should help people when they need help, right?" Siena smiles, earning a chuckle from her dad.
"Yes, angel. Daddy is proud of you." Siena pulls her daddy down for a nose-to-nose before telling him good night.
Waking up the next day, Ace sighs realizing that he has work today. Getting himself ready and also making breakfast for the little one became a routine. He was quite used to it and simply seeing his angel smile gave him more energy to get through the whole day.
"Angel," Ace softly calls, "daddy made breakfast."
Slowly opening her eyes from her slumber, the angel gave her dad a nod and got up, scratching her eyes as she does so. Ace offers his hand for Siena to take and of course, Siena took it and led them both to where the food is prepared.
"Daddy has work on Monday up to Friday." Siena starts, munching her toast. "Today is Thursday so daddy has work from morning until afternoon."
Ace smiles at his daughter, quite amazed how the younger one actually recalls how he told her about his schedule for work. "That's right."
"Aunt Irene will be here before Daddy leaves." Ace nods as he helps Siena drink her milk.
Siena went down from her chair and walks to her daddy. Ace knows what his angel is about to do next, making him chuckle to himself as he carries her to sit on his lap, facing him.
"Daddy has to go to work until the afternoon. Daddy should eat a lot, okay?" Siena orders, peppering her daddy with soft little kisses on the face. "Siena also needs to give daddy a very tight hug."
