Anything To See You Again ( Chongqiu )

Chapter I

The world was in awe, how could such a sweet boy be murdered like that?
But the world was never in as much awe as Chongyun was.

"We must take extreme measures to keep threats to our young society away," Ningguang said in between sobs.  Ningguang is the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing. She is the richest among all of Tevyat. She could practically buy the world if she wanted to.
She finally continued.

"Xingqiu was only 17 years old. He, along with so many other children in Liyue had a dream to grow up and live a happy life, but the difference is, he never got a chance to pursue his dreams. He never got a chance to even wrap up his childhood. May the archons protect you all, and let Xingqiu Guhua rest in peace."

Ningguang let out a cry so piercing it felt like someone was ripping your heart right out of your chest. Still, her mourning did not even compare to what Chongyun was feeling. He let out cries 10x worse the Ningguang's; but no one was there to wipe the tears off his face for him, or bring him into a hug. He was a nobody, a nobody at all now.

Ever since the night when the Millileth knocked on Chongyun's door, telling him what happened to the only person he cared about, Chongyun started having these weird thoughts..

Thoughts he shouldn't be thinking about..

'Maybe I should just end it all here, maybe I should just jump off of Mt. Hulao, or maybe get killed by some Hilichurls.. Better yet, why don't I just drown in the pretty blue sea I longed to visit ever since I was a kid?'

Those kind of thoughts.

Chongyun had taken a lot of time off of work. Almost a week at this point. Chongyun was not the one to take time off of work, in fact, this was his first time ever. He loved his job too much, he could never think of an excuse to leave it. Not even when he was in his worst of states. But this, this state he was in was
worse then any other state he had been in. Ever. He knew that no matter what, he had to return back to work soon, though. He felt the worry in his friends' hearts and didn't want to make anyone else sad.

Sad. Chongyun had always hated that word. Anytime someone he knew was sad, he'd tell them be happy again, because life doesn't wait for you, it keeps going, you only have so much time, so make the best of it. "Live your life to the fullest, that way, you won't regret it afterwards," Chongyun always reminded them. But not once has Chongyun took what he was saying to heart, Not once has he ever focused on himself, for that matter.

Chongyun soon realizes that.
