id just like to say that this chapter has suic*de, so if u want to read till then, ill warn when that part comes.

As Chongyun sprint walked over to the restaurant, he felt the people's stares digging into him. That was quite expected, though. It wasn't everyday you saw someone carrying a big bag full of things.

"H-hi," Chongyun stuttered. Maybe he was quite embarrassed at the people watching his every move, thinking he was going to pull out a weapon at any moment.

"Hi! Welcome to Good Hunter, may I get you anything sir?"

Just like the other woman, this lady had a cheerful and outgoing spirit. Could that just be common thing in Mondstadt?

"Well, you see. I am a traveller all the way from Liyue. I needed to fuel up and stopped by here. Perhaps you have water?"

"Oh goodness, that is sure a long way to travel.. You poor thing.. I'll be right back with your H20," She beamed.

It hadn't been ten seconds when the lady, Sarah, appeared above the counter again with a plastic bottle of water.

"Here you are, it's on me. I can't be so heartless as to expect payment off of someone who put so much on themselves," She smiled again then continued;

"Please have an amazing day. Don't forget to stop by again! I'd love for you to talk to me about your amazing adventures!"

Chongyun felt a different way with Sarah then Majorie. Perhaps it felt like a mother asking her child about their first day of school and so on. It didn't matter though, Chongyun still smiled a bright smile that glowed just like the city.

"Thank you so much miss. I really appreciate this. You have a good day as well!"

He then waved and sat down, leaning against a wall. He unscrewed the cap of the bottle and chugged the water. He must have beat the world record for fastest water drinking, because he downed it within less than two seconds. It felt so refreshing. Everything did, in his opinion. This journey helped him take his mind of the depressing things, even for just a while..

He dashed straight back up alerting the citizens who had been walking by. Then, he walked out the big grand gate.

"Thank you for visiting Mondstadt, the city of wind and song. Hope to see you again!"

The voice of the knights echoed.

But Chongyun was already so far ahead, running faster than the speed of light towards that big cliff.

..

When he finally made it towards his location after defeating a group of hilichurls, he sat at the edge, admiring the beautiful sea.

It had just struck noon, but time didn't really matter anymore to the sweet blue haired boy. He stared at the ocean for another two minutes before sighing. He took out a pen. A beautiful one that Xingqiu gifted him on his birthday. The last birthday the two would celebrate. It was black with gold accents and stripes. It had a little chain that was connected to a navy blue feather. On the front of it in a beautiful font it wrote:

'Love you to the moon and back'

Chongyun then took out a big notepad, and ripped a piece off. Using the rest of the notepad as support to write on, in his neatest handwriting he began to form;

'Oh wow, it has been a rollercoaster, eh? One second you were here with me. Our hands connected, smiling our happiest smiles, the next, I am doing something that I may regret later on. Whatever, it has its risks, but it may be the key to reuniting with you, Xingqiu. When I first saw you, I knew we were destined, no matter how crazy it would be while we were together, I knew we had to stick together and spend our every last breath together. But that didn't work out.. In the sense that you let go of the grass before me. You let go of the grass that held us to this Earth. The Earth that brought us together. You were my everything, I don't know how I've even managed this long. People try to help me get through this buy dropping a bag of Mora on me, or talking to me about happy things, but I just think about how I want to do all those things with you.. Why did you have to go out with that group on that night? I wish I could have stopped you. Then we would probably be cuddling on the couch right now, not caring about life, just each other. But no, it had to end this way. This is our fate. Ours only. To my friends, if you ever read this, I love you as well, and I am sorry I tried isolating myself from you. I wish I could do a million things over in my life.  And so to Xingqiu Guhua, if you ever stumble upon this note, perhaps as a free hearted soul, if we ever meet each other again as spirits in our afterlives, or whatever we may be, just know I have a million things planned in my head to treat you to. Well, all things come to an end, whether they crumple early or late, they come to an end.  After all, you need to end a chapter to start another, and you need to finish those chapters to finish a book, your story. This is just the end of my first story, this is just my first ending. So to everyone out there, especially Xingqiu;
I love you to the moon and back.'

*alarm sounds* this next part has suic*de in it,  and then stuff about chongyun's afterlife if u dont want to read aftterwards, then heres ur ending ^ 😛

Chongyun then took a nail and attached it to the message. He used his backpack to hammer the nail into the ground. The nail was a bit bent, but it did the job. You could see the note while passing bye as Chongyun had left it open. He then turned facing backwards, and jumped off the cliff.

He woke up in a strange place, it was a beautiful garden, in every direction the was a beautiful mansion sitting in front of him.

"Is this a dream?"

Chongyun tried pinching himself. No use.

"Is this what it feels like to be dead?"

Chongyun decided to go to the mansion facing in front of him, being West. When he got to its' path, there was some sort of forcefield that blocked Chongyun from entering. It pushed him back a bit just like in some dramatic cartoons.

The same thing happened with all the of two other mansions.

'Strange,' Chongyun thought.

There was just one more mansion to check, this one being opposite of where he started, to the East. It shimmered in the beautiful sunlight more than the others. Chongyun didn't have many hopes or expectations for this one, but he misjudged it.

"Huh, there is no forcefield?"

Chongyun soon got to the door of the mansion. He tried opening it, and sure enough, it was unlocked.

"This is so weird," Chongyun whisper-shouted.

He then made his way to the living room, the place was clearly not abandoned. He peered in and saw a navy haired boy engrossed in a novel. When he sensed Chongyun's presence, he looked up and smiled a big smile at the icy boy.

It was Xingqiu. Xingqiu Guhua.
