Silence conquered the hall. Mitch and Arthur were still standing in the hall, waiting for the response of each other.
"Princess-
"Stop," Mitch said quickly.
"Your highness-
"Stop"
"Your-
"Stop! Can't you just stop?" Mitch looks straight in the eyes of Arthur, full of resentment and anger.
"Can't you see? My mind's a mess right now! And I don't know what to say because of those vogue words of yours! This is preposterous, don't you think?! You're so despicable. You know what? Why don't you get out of my sight because I might say more offensive words to you? I'm trying to be kind right now so get out of my sight!" then Mitch slammed the door. She doesn't know what to do. She's more likely to be crazy right now but Arthur was still outside, waiting for the response of Mitch. After a moment, Arthur decided to go yet flustered Mitch was still leaning on the door, trying not to cry.
While she was looking at the room, she noticed a big curtain that was covering something. She then walks towards it and opens the gigantic curtain. As she opened it, she found a white and transparent door. She saw the wide place of 'what-they-call-palace' and opened the door. She noticed that there were no men in armour scattered near her. So, Mitch came up with an idea, she then gathered all the cloth she saw and tangled it together.
When she got down, she looked around and ran quickly but very quietly. When she's in the gate, she sees two men in armour guarding the palace. Mitch suddenly knocked the two guards down, silently. Mitch is a good fighter; she learned self-defence when she was 9 and was taught by her father.
Mitch then walks outside and she's now at the back of the palace. She runs as fast as she could in the middle of the forest. The trees might be an obstacle for her, but she managed to dodge every tree that she encountered.
As Mitch ran quickly, she looked at the back to check if someone was chasing her but suddenly...Mitch stumbled and fell; rolling downwards from the forest and bumped into the tree with her back.
"OUCH!!!" Mitch couldn't scream because of the extreme pain. She couldn't move her right foot and her back is aching because of the bumping. Mitch cried and stared at the blank sky. It was midnight and surely nobody's still awake and nobody could help her.
"No, I don't need any help. I'm strong, I can do this." Mitch looked at her surroundings as she cheered herself up. She then found a meter-length branch and took it up near her. She used it as a crutch that made her walk in the middle of the forest. After plenty of minutes of walking, she then found herself looking at the light that she was able to see from afar.
Mitch walked near the light and saw that it came from a small house.
"A house in the middle of the forest? Geez it's so creepy" Mitch said as she weirdly stared at the small house.
"Whatever, I just need to rest for a moment and then I'll go" she was about to knock but something came into her mind. "Wait, what if the people living in this house will just make me go back to the palace. I ran hundreds of miles just to make myself go back to that place? Definitely not, I should just go and endure this pain rather than getting caught again." Mitch was about to walk but suddenly the door opened.
It was a boy; Mitch was shocked and stared at the boy. The boy was also staring at her weirdly as if he was confused. Mitch is also thinking why this boy is staring at her weirdly but she still smiled awkwardly.
"Good evening sir, I'm very sorry to disturb you this very late night but I would like to ask your permission if I could just rest here at your terrace for a moment? Don't worry I'll leave quickly after that" Mitch explained. She's still confused because the boy's face is still shocked.
"I'm sorry sir, I'll just leave, thank yo---" Mitch didn't finish what she's saying because someone came behind the boy.
"Hey Maximus would you just slow down please, I almost stumbl—who's that?" the girl asked and looked at Mitch. The girl suddenly dropped her small bag.
Mitch and the girl stared at each other because they looked exactly alike.
"Princess Mona?"
