3rd Person POV:

"Are you really going to hold a ball?" Hadrian raised his eyebrow and Tom shushed him. "I am. now, all of my upper rank death eaters, meaning you all and the junior ranked death eaters too. Remember, no other death eaters should be informed of this ball." Tom said and they all said together,
"Yes my lord."

"Great. Now also remember to wear your best robes and dresses. Off you go." They all stood up, nodded, did a little bow and slowly retreated out the door, making sure to not turn their backs until reaching the door.
Once everyone left, Hadrian turned to his father, "Why did they do that?"

"Do what?" Tom questioned as he made it towards his personal chamber. "The bow and not turning around while walking out." Hadrian exclaimed and Tom let out a small 'ah' of understanding before sitting down.

"Sit down." He waved at the chair Infront of him and Hadrian took a seat Infront of his father on a armchair, "So?"

"Be patient hadrian." Tom said calmly (don't start in the comment section istg-) and Hadrian huffed. "Fine."

He snapped his fingers and a house elf popped in, "Lory, a cup of green tea and..." He glanced at Hadrian to ask what he would be getting. Hadrian seemed to realise this and turned to the small creature. "Uh a coffee would do just fine."

The house elf bowed and popped off.
Hadrian gave his father a look of 'why is everyone doing that?' and Tom chuckled. "It's just a gesture of respect to someone elder, experienced and a leader of someone or something." He explained and Hadrian nodded in understanding. "Say, when should we hold the ball?" Tom asked and Hadrian blinked. "Me?"

"Yes, you."

"Why me though? You're here and you know when it'd be best to hold the ball." Hadrian asked and Tom smiled softly, "You need to start taking decisions. This could be a early start." Hadrian sighed and scratched his neck. After a few minutes of being nervous Tom sighed.

Hadrian thought he had gotten annoyed because that's what happened before anytime he didn't answer his 'friends' right away, but to his surprise, his father just stared at him cooly.
"Don't stress, you have a gift. Don't think someone's forcing and you need to get the answer now. I know you are a great strategist, if you think properly."

Hadrian closed his eyes and took a long breath, no one has spoken to him like that before. As he couldn't explain himself, his feelings or needs. Others never understood him, but misunderstood and gave him a look of either exasperation or pity, he loathes those look.

Hadrian glanced at his father to see him sipping at the cup of tea lory brought him.
His face was calm and serene with his ice cold blue eyes staring at the tea cup in his hand, eye lid half closed as his ebony eyelashes partly draped his eyes. Red lips clashing against his pale complexion, warm glowth in his midnight hair and skin due to the sizzling fireplace.

Hadrian breathed out softy through his nose and perceived one last thought before focusing back in, he need not be worried anymore about anyone judging him, he was at home.

Where he belonged from the beginning, the right which was taken from him. A waved of anger washed over him but a look at his father's peaceful face calmed him down as he offered the man a smile.
"How about in 3 days?"
