As I got out of school, I started to walk home by myself because, sadly, I don't have any friends. Still, I guess I can blame that on my anti-social ness and my unwillingness to make friends, the reason why I don't have any, but who needs friends when I have my inventions to keep me company.
"Yeah, screw having friends," I said Outloud as I then started brainstorming about future creations until all of a sudden, I heard an explosion.
In a fit of curiosity, I decided to follow where the sound came from. As I kept running, I then came to see a crowd in front of me. I then started to push through it to see what was going on.

Normal Pov
When Karai got to the front of the crowd, she saw a horrifying sight of a blond-haired boy trapped in what seems to be slime as heroes were trying to figure out what to do.

All Karai could do was look on in worry as the boy kept struggling while making massive explosions with his quirk, trying to get out of the slimes grasp. All she couldn't help but think was how she wanted to help him but couldn't because monsters can't be heroes.

Until, all of a sudden, a green-haired boy rushed out, running from the crowd right towards the blond-haired boy. He then threw his backpack at the monster's eye, distracting it, and right when he got towards the slime. He then started to try to claw at the slime villain, desperately trying to save the boy. Still, just like the blond boy, he was getting sucked in too, and at that moment, Karai felt something deep within her light up like a campfire.

She then felt the urge to help these boys, but as fast as the fire markings lit up, it started to dim down because she remembered monsters can't be heroes; they can't save people. The only thing they can do is bring destruction.

but that flame, even though now small, still overpowered her thoughts, and at that moment, she activated her powers and threw a fireball at the monster, distorting it causing the monster to break free of the blond boy's mouth, allowing him to breathe again.
The green-haired boy looked around in surprise, trying to figure out who did that but only saw a fleeting sliver of shiny raven-colored hair in a crowd of people. No sooner as karai started to leave, there was than a big burst of wind.
As Karai turned around to see what it was, she saw it was no other than the number 1 hero all might. He had saved the two boys. Karai then let out a sigh of relief as she then started to walk away so she could go home, not knowing that two certain boys had noticed her leave.
Karai's Pov
As I was walking home, I couldn't help but say to myself, "did I become a hero? Did I save somebody? Because If I did, that's bad because if I become a hero, that means I might repeat what it did again I might lose control I might hurt somebody as I did so long ago when I was little, but I don't want that to happen again I said worryingly
"no, no, no, NO. I just defended those boys. Yeah, I defended them. I was an innocent bystander that saw somebody in trouble, so I defended them. That's what happened; yeah, I wasn't a being a hero or anything like that," I said to myself, reassuringly
Sometime after, I finally got home. When I came through the door, I saw my parents in the kitchen cooking dinner; when my dad noticed me, he turned around then, he said to me, "oh, you're finally home. Well, I hope you're hungry" with a smile on his face
At that moment, all my worries washed away. I then smiled and sat down for dinner.
"So how was school," my mother asked as she was setting the food down on the table "good," "well, was it anything else others than good," my father said as he sat down at the table. "did you learn something new or what?"
"I don't know," I said as we then started to get ready to eat. "Itadakimasu," we said; after that, we started eating.
"so karai, are you sure nothing new happened at school?" my father said curiously "well...jo sensei did ask what high school we wanted to go to, and I said I didn't know."
"well, since you don't know, how about applying to U.A it's the top school, and they have a strong support course," my mom said "honey, are you sure because she can always apply to the hero school I work part-time at," my dad said "Shiketsu high school right?" I asked as I looked up at my father.
Oh yeah, I forgot that my father would teach combat lessons there part-time, I thought to myself
"yeah," my father said with a smile on his face, "if you want, you can apply because they also have an excellent support course."
"I'll think about it, ok," I said with a weak smile on my face as I finished eating. "I'm gonna go to my room. May I be excused."
"sure, sweetie," my mom said with a smile on her face, "just make sure not to stay up late, ok and don't stress over high schools just do what you think is right just follow your heart, ok."
"Thanks, mom, I know," I shouted with a smile on my face as I was going up the stairs to my room
I then closed my door as I let out a sigh. "Do I really want to go to U.A or Shiketsu? Like I know both are good schools but do I want to go." I said to myself, genuinely not knowing what to do for once in my life.
"Follow your heart; she said," I said while sighing, looking up the ceiling " I guess I'll take my chances with U.A."
I then laid down on my bed as I started to think about applying to U.A as a hero support student. I hope things go well; I thought to myself as I began to close my eyes, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
