"I hear you were almost shot through the heart," Elisa says as she walks up to Hazel, who's being dragged to her by Cha Cha and Pieter, "by Five." The two agents' faces are serious, but the disgust towards the man they're pulling behind them is visible for everyone—especially Elisa. Once in front of her, in between the many watching agents, the two push him on his knees right before letting go of him.

Just now does Hazel look up at Elisa. His eyes are sparkling, and he smiles, amused. "That rat? He wouldn't dare," Hazel says, his smile widening. "I'm still breathing, aren't I?"

"You are," Elisa states as she takes a step towards him. Then another . . . and another. She only stops when she's right in front of him, looking down at the man. "But are you sure you don't wish he had shot you?"

Hazel raises an eyebrow, his curiosity taking over. "What do you mean, Elisa?" The way her name rolls oft his tongue in such a easy, challenging way. It makes Elisa let out a chuckle.

"Don't you know?" She sneers. "You're going to wish Five did shoot you, because I'm planning to do way worse, my friend."

With a fire raging in her eyes, Elisa looks up at Cha Cha and Pieter who are still standing next to the kneeling Hazel, who's face has drained from all amusement. It is now replaced with pure fear. All the other agents shuffle nervously, not daring to even imagine how Hazel will fare.

"Can you bring him to . . ." Elisa trails off as a devilish, cruel smile appears on her lips. Some agents take a step backwards because of it. But Cha Cha and Pieter aren't afraid; they nod, and then they pick up Hazel again.

Elisa follows behind him, leaving the agents for what they are. Her eyes stay on Hazel who lazily walks with the two. It surprises her that he hasn't tried to convince Cha Cha, his old partner, to let him go. Well, it is clear who's side she's on, anyway. He doesn't even have to try.

Five had tried to convince Elisa to leave Hazel for what he is. He wanted to lock Hazel up, and then be done with him. He'll rot away there, were his words. He didn't want Elisa to follow in the real old handler's footsteps, but she ignored his wishes. This was something she had to do, and then she could finally say goodbye to this awful place. She'd never be the handler ever again.

But first, Hazel has to pay for what he has done, for the lives he has taken.

That is why Elisa orders Cha Cha and Pieter to leave the room as she places herself on the chair in front of the cage that she used to be so terrified of. She still is, don't get her wrong, but now that Hazel is in there, it feels more acceptable.

A silence comes down upon them where Hazel and her only stare at each other, both not wanting to say the first word.

Hazel breaks first. "So, you're planning on playing the handler again now?" His voice full of criticism.

"No," is all Elisa says. She returns to staying quiet and watching Hazel in the cage. It gives her a good feeling, and maybe she should let him rot away in here. But he deserves to be the talk of the Commission. She wants his screams to be heard throug the hallways.

"Then why are you doing this?"

Of course Elisa smirks. "Scared, Hazel?" she asks.

"Of you? Never!" he spits out, scrunching up his nose as he turns his face, so he isn't forced to look at her anymore.

"If you do want to know," Elisa starts, and Hazel eyes fall on her again, "I'm doing this to make sure no one even thinks of hurting my family ever again."

"You think torturing me will stop 'em?" He cocks his head to the side, thinking too much of himself in Elisa's opinion. "They won't stop."

"Oh, I think they will," Elisa tells him. "Especially when they hear your screams."

"You won't get a single sound out of me."

"Scream, Hazel," Elisa orders him with a smug smile placing itself on her lips. He opens his mouth, wanting to refuse again, but no sounds leaves his lips. This, of course, makes Elisa's smirk grow. "Don't make me ask again."

"Are you too soft to make me actually pay?" he asks, staying serious. He doesn't laugh, which shows he's smart enough not to challenge her even more.

"I think screaming like a true idiot in front of me will do enough." She lazily stretches out her legs as she fully leans against the chair. "If you don't scream, I will have to cut you open—just like everyone thinks I'm doing to you right now. So, be careful choosing your next step, Hazel. And, oh, don't make me wait much longer. My patience has been through a lot, and I'd like some decent sleep."

"Scream," he repeats the word, and a sigh follows. "This is nonsense."

"Indeed," she admits, "but do it, anyway. Make sure they all hear."

Hazel scoffs, and just a second later, he screams as if he truly is in pain.

And Elisa listens to him for minutes, enjoying the way his pride will be damaged so badly he'll never forget this moment. She only stops him when his voice is nothing but a whisper.
