A/n: And we are starting with my favorite guy again, not only because I love him, but also because it was requested. Either way, I wouldn't say no to him. Since it wasn't mentioned if it should be in-game or an AU, I thought I will try to go with an AU this time. Here we go!~

I apologize for taking forever, but you know...motivation to write comes and goes ^^;

I also suck at writing fluff so I thought it would be better to keep it short instead of making it to a chaotic long one-shot.

Imagine taking 2 years to fulfill a request *sweats*

✾ The flower that he saw that day ✾

It was another sunny, but chilly spring day which was accompanied by the birds chirping outside. Another perfect looking day on which the turquoise haired adult was in a hurry.

What was his name again?

Ah, right!

Shin. Shin Tsukimi.

Shin Tsukimi was a person that didn't really believe that he could be someone who would be able to have a life which was full of happy moments. He was aware of how cruel life could be to someone like him. But what made life so cruel?

Everything.

Everything could make one's life to a dark bizzare place without one even realizing it at first.

But to be a bit more positive, wasn't it normal for someone like Shin to think so? His life hasn't been the greatest so far after all. Always having to search for a new job over and over again just to have the money to be able to get around wasn't that easy nor was it a pleasant way to live.

Heck, each day seemed to be either "alright" or "shitty", but there was never anything that really sparked anything inside of him. He lacked the motivation to go on. He needed a muse.

Each day was simply the same old boring day. Nothing much happened nor did a lot change...

Well, besides the fact he got to know a certain green haired man who he calls his friend maybe-

Except that there was nothing new to his life.

It might be a bit reassuring that he doesn't have to worry about some situations which might never occur to him. That didn't change the fact that he kind of wanted a little change in his life routine.

Oh well, what did our dear job hopper apply for this time anyway?

A small café.

Not that creative, are we?

Well, to him it was at least better than nothing. If only it wasn't for the fact that he had to get across half of the city to get there....

Then again, it did pay better than his other jobs which he had applied for in the past and he had read in the reviews that employees get treated better than at some other places at least.

The blue haired man wasn't all too bothered by the choice of job. He wasn't completely looking forward to it either though considering he never brew a coffee before. At least not as good as it would be expected from someone who was going to work at a café. But he told himself that he would at least try his best.

The man wasn't the luckiest and was clumsy at times as well.

Shin sighed deeply while he crossed the street making sure that no car was trying to speed across it. Nope, he wasn't taking the underground, train or bus. It saved money to walk there, even if it wasn't necessarily the safest around some corners and it consumed more time.

At some days he would regret the fact that he was up for walking to his new working place. He didn't care that much around his surroundings, or at least not anymore, because he knew he was trapped alone in the world he lived in. He had nobody besides his one friend. That wasn't enough to him.

If he had to decide on only one thing that he really wanted, it wouldn't be something you could buy with money.

Shin wanted to be loved and to have someone he could care about.

So when his friend known as Sou asked him if there was something he dearly wished for, Shin replied that he wished to have a sibling. Thinking about it, he realized that the conversation had been more recent and not that long of a time ago like he thought at first.

Shin's train of thought was a mess containing his usual life struggles and daily thoughts which he didn't really need at that moment.

He was on his way to work and shouldn't get sidetracked, so he told himself.

It was a second after that the blue haired beanie wearer realized that he had bumped into someone. He was quick to offer them help to get up and apologize. During that short moment, he took in the features of the person he ran into. They had mesmerizing hair which was neatly styled and eyes which shone brighter than the rays of the sun in his opinion.

It was silent for a while until the person in front of him stiffled a soft apology and thanked him for helping them up.

Shin blushed slightly.

They seemed to be shy which was kind of adorable to him, but they also looked attractive to him.

If only the moment could last longer.

Shin had to get to work as quick as possible, so did the person who spared him not a glance after and continued on their own journey.

Oh boy, if only they knew how much that short single moment made Shin feel.

Just as Shin was about to head into the café, he couldn't help but smile to himself when he caught a glimpse of their hair again. Seeing as they entered the flower shop across the street, he only hoped that they weren't there for a quick visit, but for work. Then he could eventually pay them a visit during breaks or after his shift was over. If they were still there by then, that is.

"Thinking about it, they really reminded me of a flower", he chuckled to himself and entered the café with more confidence than he had at first hoping that the day would go by sooner than he already wished for it to.

If he actually should be able to meet them more often, then he for sure could say that he finally met his muse who could bring joy into his life again.
