Bound To Happen

Chapter 17,

The doctors told me that they didn't think George would wake up, the chance was apparently extremely low.

"How do you feel?" Dream asked George while pulling up a chair to the side of his bed.

George sat up slowly, wincing at the sharp pain that shot through his waist where the bullet landed.

"I feel alright." George tried his best to sound convincing, but something wasn't  right.

George's wound kept bleeding through the bandage, even tho it was all stitched up.

"Techno and the others are gonna visit later, I haven't seen Sap, Bad, or Skeppy in forever." Dream told George.

George smiled at Dream, he missed him. The coma was like a black void, it was empty no color, no noise. Just him all alone. He did recall his hand becoming warm at some points tho.

Niki and another nurse brought them a menu for breakfast. As much as Dream missed his bed, and his cat who was being taken care of by Techno. He had to admit the breakfast in bed was kinda nice.

George and Dream ate their breakfast, "must be nice not having to eat through a tube anymore." Dream said through bites of his food, his words becoming muffled due to the amount of pancakes he had in his mouth.

About an hour after they finished breakfast, they heard a knock at the door. "Come in!" Dream shouted.

The door opened and Sapnap, Bad, Techno, and Tommy walked over to them.

"Dream! Sapnap shouted cheerfully while running up to Dream and locking him in a bare hug.

Sapnap felt someone pulling him away from Dream. "Easy you don't wanna kill him do you." Techno said while pushing him away.

"Gogy! You're not dead!" Sapnap said while hugging George gently making sure he didn't hurt him.

"Gee thanks, and again why that nickname." George groaned playfully.

"Oh my goodness are you two okay?" Bad asked while fidgeting with his hand nervously.

"We're okay Bad" George said, giving him a warm smile.

"That's a relief I was really worried." He said softly, a hint of sadness lacing his tone.

Tommy sat in the corner of the room, looking more upset than normal.

"What's up with him?" Dream asked Techno while pointing to the boy in the corner.

"Oh don't worry about him, he's just mad because he had to skip his Minecraft event to come here or something like that." Techno shrugged.

Dream just nodded in reply.

Where's Skeppy? George asked to no one in particular.

"He has to do something out of state so he couldn't make it." Bad replied.

"He did tell me to let you guys now that he hopes you feel better and he's sorry." Bad continued.

"Aw." Dream replied, while putting his left over scraps from breakfast in the trash.

"Dream nudged at technos arm to get his attention.
