The bird on my hand was rather large, it was heavy too. I looked at it and put my hand to the table and it gracefully walked down and set itself there.
"What do you mean..?" Cullen asked, I can see that Edward was backing away slightly at the sight. I felt a bit worried... I carefully moved the bird to be a bit closer to me.
"I wasn't born yesterday, Child. I know you need something, just spit it out." I looked at these children in front of me, I won't lie, Henry, my 1st love as Rosetta Alivs, pales in comparison to them.
"I'd..." Cullen looked at the owl, it's eyes had dilated, it looked like it was about to attack. I raise my hand and let the owl perch itself on my forearm, it had sharp tallens, it hurt.
'Go to your master.' I whispered, it shortly flew away, disappearing quickly from my sights.
I looked at Cullen, I got rid of the thing spying on him, surely he can speak freely now.
"I'd like to break the engagement our parents made." Cullen clenched his fist, as if he was waiting for a slap to the face. I took a sigh of relief, I was planning to do that anyway, thank god he did it for me.

The group of boys looked at the girl, she seemed to be completely fine with what he said, even relieved.
"That's it?" Laqueta asked, she felt somehow disappointed that Cullen came here to just break the engagement.
"Aren't you going to... do something about it..?" Cullen looked at the girl who seemed to be completely fine.
"Why would I?" Laqueta played with her hair a bit, clearly not entertain by the situtation.
So the engagement is taken cared of. All I have to do is just stay home and hope my parents don't make it go to that school where the male leads meet the protagonist or something. Laqueta looked at them, they were all surprised.
Cullen cleared his throat, grabbing their attention.
"Alright, since we aren't going to be engaged, I will offer you're hand in marriage to Edward." Cullen told Laqueta, the girl had a blank expression but she was extremely annoyed.
"No thanks." Laqueta stared at Edward.
I mean... this slightly changes the thought out plot of this world but, I know somehow this will somehow make me get engaged back to Cullen. But... it would be pretty interesting on how it would happen.
Cullen glared at the girl.
"You need to, would be a shame if something happened to your dear maid Emma." Cullen smirked, hostility in his eyes, Laqueta at the same blank expression.
"I know why you want me to engage to Edward, you want us to pretend to be in love with each other, forcing your father to pick another bride for the future." Laqueta stopped playing with her hair, staring Cullen with a cold glare.
Your threats are futile, Emma can't die anyway, that trinket I gave her prevents her from getting killed. Nor can you fully use your magic around this estate, I know the effects of enchanted potatoes, despite being extremely delicious, they can numb down one's magic capability. Laqueta smirked, knowing that their threats are empty to her.
