A couple of hours passed, and she could do nothing but stare at Sophia and her parents, that's all she could do.

Everything that she had ever wanted, everything, was in front of her eyes. That day, she saw everything she should've had and everything she could never have. And that was the only thing wrong in her life.

In that moment laying on the hospital bed, she realised. Everything was clear now. She came to know why she was who she was. Why she was not happy. Why she had done something so heinous the previous evening.

Her brain did a total one-eighty flip on her. She felt like at that moment, she had reborn. The one holding a blade beside the bathtub was a different person, with a totally different state of mind than the person laying on a hospital bed who had a sudden epiphany.

She knew that she had wished for everything she could never have.

She thought back on the time where she was happy. The only thing stopping her now was the restraints she had brought upon herself. It was like two minds of her own fought to gain control of her body.

She had to choose

She realised everything starting up from the very first day, everything had a choice, it was her who didn't choose the right option. Perfect is an illusion. Her eyes scanned the ward and she realised that she was in a better state than most people. Most importantly she was alive. Unlike her parents. That had to mean something, right?

She had a purpose and she was going to fulfil it.

We're not our mind, we can find our way out of psychological pain. Our body is just the key to enter into a state of inner peace only we could allow us to attain. The present reminds us that a problem-free world could, in fact, exist. Where we could discover that we're already complete and perfect.

A lot can happen over time, but each moment can make a difference.

She still remembers when her grandmother had quoted Eckhart Tolle from years ago, "You're here to enable the divine purpose of the universe to unfold. That's how important you are!"

The way Bella figured, everyone gets a miracle. Her miracle was a four year old with a sprained ankle.
