His princess

Chapter one

Riley

I wake up to hear my parents arguing, like usual.
I will never understand why they are still together, they absolutely hate each other and they are always arguing, especially over money and my father's drinking problem. They fight every day, and it's worse when he comes home drunk as hell.

"Riley, get your ass out of fucking bed!" My dad screamed from downstairs
I quickly jump up and threw on pants and a hoodie, and went downstairs to see what was going on.
I went downstairs to see my dad waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs
"Yes, father?" I ask, a bit nervous.
"Get out of my house. your mother and I could like some alone time" He says.
I simply nod and grab my shoes, putting them on.
"I have to work anyways" He nod, and I left the house

I walk to work, it's about a 10-minute walk, but it's peaceful, and some of the only time I get alone. I arrive at work and head inside, going back to the kitchen and clocking in. I then started serving customers. So far so good, the day was going smooth and it was pretty quiet today. Personally, I love quiet days.

After a few hours of working, I finally get a break. I head outside with a friend, we talk about random things and return inside 15 minutes later.
It's around dinner time now, so we start to get busier. I continue to serve customers, waiting for my shift to end
"30 more minutes... you can do it, Riley," I say to myself, sighing heavily as I grab a tray of drinks to take to a table. I go to the table and give the customers their drinks and take their orders, and gave them to the chef.

After 30 minutes, my shift is finally over. It's around 9 pm, which is normal for me. I enjoy being away from my family anyways,

I left and started walking home. It's dark and quiet, but peaceful. I'm about halfway home when I hear groaning coming from an alleyway. I turn and look down the alleyway, to see someone sitting against a wall, holding their stomach.

"Um, s-sir? Are you okay?" I ask, slowly walking closer
They didn't reply.
"Sir..?" I say, getting closer to him.
I stand in front of him and lean down, looking to see if he had any wounds.

"Pathetic," He says, removing his hand from his stomach. He had no wounds.
I gasp, and shot up, and started running.
I was grabbed by two men behind me, and screamed, feeling a hand cover my mouth
"Shush little one," They say calmly, holding a syringe with a needle, stabbing it into my arm.
I scream again and started to feel dizzy and weak.

I pass out moments later

Max

I catch her as she passed out, and held her in my arms.
"Nathan, out of everyone. Why her? You know I care about her and that we we friends for quite a long time."
"Max, there are reasons. But not here" He replies simply.
I nod, and carried her to the car, gently laying her in the back seat.
I walk around and get in the backseat.

20 minutes later, we arrived at the safe house.
I carry her inside and bring her to the basement, laying her on the mattress that is on the floor.
I left right after
"Alright, she's downstairs, Nathan"
"Thank you" He replied, walking away.

Riley

I started to wake up, I have a horrible headache, and I feel very tired and weak.

I look around but saw nothing other than darkness.
I heard a door open, and someone comes into the room.
They turned on the lights and looked down at me with a smirk.

He was tall, had light blue eyes, and black hair. He honestly was pretty handsome.
Riley, focus, you've been kidnapped and you're calling this guy handsome.

He stares down at me
"You're a beautiful girl, and I'm glad to have you here now." He says.
"What do you mean? Why am I here?!" I started to panic.

"Mio angelo, calm down. You are here for a few reasons."
