His princess

Chapter four

Riley

I wake up to hear someone knocking on my door.

"Come in," I say groggily, rubbing my eyes to help wake me up.

Nathan walked in, his hair was wet, and was dressed in blue jeans, a black shirt, and a leather jacket.

'God he's so hot.' I think to myself

I look up at him, his beautiful blue eyes landed on mine.

"Get up, we have to leave in half an hour to head to New York. We will be flying and our plane leaves at 7:30. It's a half-hour ride there so we have to leave around 6:30. Currently, it's 6. Please get ready" He says, still looking into my eyes.

I smile slightly and nod.
"Okay.. I'll get ready."

He nods and leaves the room.

I got out of bed, and see that Nathan had left me some clothes on the table next to my bed. I slightly smile and grab them, and head into the bathroom.

I grab a towel and a washcloth, sitting them on the counter. I take my clothes off and put them in the laundry basket.

I then started a shower and got in, lathering my hair with shampoo then rinse it out. I grabbed my washcloth and got it wet, then put some soap in it. I washed my body and rinsed off, turning off the water and getting out of the shower.

I dry off and get dressed, he had left me some sweatpants and a hoodie, as well as a pair of boxers.

I comb my hair and brush my teeth, then walked out of the bathroom.

I then slipped on my shoes and grabbed the bag Nathan also left in my room, packing up the very few things I had with me.

Once I finished, I walked out of my room and made my way to the kitchen. This house is so big... anyone could get lost in here. I'm glad I know how to get to a few places.

When I get to the kitchen, I see Nathan, Max, and Daxon sitting at the table, talking.

I take a deep breath and walk-in. Immediately everyone looked up at me. Daxon gave me a soft smile, so did Max. Nathan waved and signaled me to come sit.

I gave them a small smile and walked over, taking a seat next to Nathan.

A few minutes later, the cook comes out with plates of food for all of us. He puts them in front of us and gives us a small smile before disappearing into the kitchen once more.

We all immediately started eating.

"Alright, so. The four of us will be heading to New York this morning. Andrea and AP plan to come up in a few days. We don't want it to be suspicious that we're all going at once. And they have some work to do here while they can. They should be up there by the end of next week." Nathan says, breaking the silence.

We all nod, and continue to eat in comfortable silence. We soon finish and get up.

"Alright everyone, go get your bags and meet at the front door," Nathan says, leaving the dining room to head to his room.

I got up and started going upstairs to my room. Once I got there I remembered I hadn't packed anything. So I quickly grab the bookbag that was in the closet and packed up the few things I had with me. Just some clothes Nathan had left, a toothbrush, toothpaste, simple things like that.

Once I had packed everyone, I quickly went downstairs and found my way to the front door, luckily it wasn't hard to get to.

Everyone was waiting at the door patiently for me. Once I came down Nathan opened the door and went outside, everyone following behind him. I quietly followed, anxious about this trip.

We got in the SUV that was parked outside, and Nathan started driving to the airport.

30 minutes later, and we're at the airport. I'm honestly super nervous, but I hope this goes well. I've never been on a plane before so that's what makes me nervous. It's almost 7:00 am, which means we have half an hour before the flight. We just have to go through security and stuff.

We head instead and go through security, luckily that goes smoothly. Soon we are waiting for our plane- which might I add is surprisingly a private plane. Which is really nice.

Not long later, we are boarding the plane. At this point, I'm shaking from being so nervous. Nathan notices and looks at me a bit concerned.

We all take seats and I quickly put on a seatbelt. Nathan sits next to me, still looking concerned.

"You okay?" He asks.

"Y-Yeah, it's just.. I've never been on a plane before and I'm terrified of heights..." I say, looking down.

"It'll be fine. Plane rides are honestly relaxing if you ask me" He says softly, giving me a slight smile.

I softly smile back, looking up at him.

The plane soon took off, and we were heading towards New York. Nathan was right, planes are quite relaxing.

I shifted in my seat and got comfortable, drifting off to sleep

I wake up to Max shaking me and standing over me, with a smile plastered on his face.
I blink a few times and look up at him, then to my side, where Nathan is leaning against me, sound asleep.

A small smile appears on my face as I look at him. Gosh, he is really cute...

Max smiles and sits in the seat across from us.

"We'll be there in just a few minutes. I thought you would like that.. heh. I think somebody likes you" He says, smiling.

"Heh, this is really nice. Thanks for waking me" I reply, still smiling.

a few minutes later the plane landed. I managed to wake Nathan up and we exited the plane, heading into the airport. After we got our things we headed to the safehouse in an SUV.

About 45 minutes later, we're at the safe house. Nathan gets out of the car and lets me out, and takes my bag and his. We all head inside and Nathan shows me where his room was.

"Is there.. not a spare bedroom?" I ask shyly.

"No, all the bedrooms are taken. I'm sorry. Is being in here okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, it will be fine.. thank you."

He lays our bags on the bed and starts unpacking his things.

I put the few things I had with me away and laid on the bed, exhausted. God, It's been a long day...

"Nathan, I'm going to sleep... I'm tired" I say sleepily.

"Mm, okay. Goodnight princess." He says with a small smile.

"Goodnight, Nathan."
