The Strange Journey begins

I open the door, step outside and look around for a moment before quickly closing the door. Once more I look around, then take a few breaths.

I start walking towards Yang's house, it isn't that far away, I should be there in less than a minute, so I'm on my way, I hope Yang doesn't get mad at me for making her wait. Maybe I should start thinking how to calm her. Hmmmm, no, I can't think of any-

"Good morning Y/n!" Ruby greeted me, jumping suddenly out of nowhere. I was about to scream but I manage to contain myself and instead I say, "Geez, Ruby, are you triying to kill me?", she smiles sheepishly and scratches the back of her head while saying, "He he, sorry".

I quickly compose myself and start a conversation. "Did Yang sent you because I was taking so much time?" then she answers almost instantly, "Nah, I was actually going to tell you that Yang is not ready yet" huh, so I was pressuring myself for nothing "Really?" I question, to wich she answers quickly once more "Yep" but quickly adds "So, why don't you come to our house to wait for her?".

"Yeah, that sounds fine" I mean, I don't want to wait outside of the house if, that'd be weird.

Before she turns around I am able see the two Pokéballs on her belt. Lucky girl, already having not one, but two Pokémon, although it's not like Yang doesn't have any, after all she too has a Pokémon. From what I've heard, it seems that their Uncle Qrow once brought not one, but two Pokémon for Ruby and it seems that Yang got a little jealous and a tid bit mad, but just a tid bid, at least that's what she says, anyway, after seeing Yang like that Qrow decided that he should bring a couple for her aswell.

Lucky them.

On the other side of the spectrum, there's people like, people that don't even have a Pokémon in their house, pleople who are simply unlucky.

It seems Ruby didn't notice the fact that I wasn't moving, so I decided to rush at her side. After having a some small talk we've reached their house. Ruby enters and I follow. I am welcomed by a greeting coming from the couch.

"Hello there, champ!" Says Tai, Yang and Ruby's father. "Not yet Mr. Not yet." I answer the blonde man.

"Oh come on, Y/n. No need to be so formal, you know you can call me Tai. I am not your teacher anymore, after all." He answers back. "It'd be weird to call you like that Mr. Xiao Long" It would be, I'm used to calling him Mr.

"Anyways" He continues "I see you still have that cap", I immediately answer "Of course sir! After all, it was a gift fro-" I am interrupted by Ruby yelling "YANG! ARE YOU READY YET?", shortly after that Yang yells back "ALMOST!". Well that was a little anticlim- "Y/N IS WAITING!" Ruby yells, once more. I turn back to face Mr. Xiao Long once again and he only give me a chuckle, I can't help but chuckle aswell, I then decide to sit on the couch.

After a couple minutes of watching TV on the couch with Mr. Xiao Long, and Ruby eating some cookies. Yang comes down the stairs. Dressed in her usual attire, still, I can't help but blush, she is so beautiful. She notices me and seems to look a little to the left, she must have noticed me staring, I'm gonna have to apologize for that, I'll do it later.

"Hey!" she says, "Hey" I answer then get out of the couch in order to get closer to her, but as I was approaching. "Can we go now?" asks Ruby. Oh, she is going to take us to the port, I bet she doesn't want her big sister to go, what a cute, innocent girl.

"Yeah..." Yang and I say at the same time, then we look at each other and smile. After this Ruby seem to be getting more impacient, "Then lets go! What are we waiting for?" she says as she grabs our wrists, trying to drag us outside the house, Yang and I look at each other again then start walking outside.

"See, it wasn't that hard, was it?" says Ruby with a smug expression. "Lets go, our jurney is waiting!" Ruby continued. As we all start heading towards the port.

It was around five minutes later when we arrived at the port, everything seemed normal, didn't even look like there was a lot of people our age, is being a trainer out of style now a days? Nah, that can't be it, right? Maybe they just slept in.

I see Ruby rush to the person guarding the ferry's access way. She seem to be speaking with them, huh, suddenly she looks down, literally and figuratively, the she slowly moves closer until she is in front of us, "Did something happened?" asked, Yang. "T... Th... The ferry!" she says and I start to get nervous, did we miss the ferry?, did it broke down?, is it full already? what is it? what is it? what happened to the ferry!? "The ferry is going to depart in twenty minutes" I let out a sigh of relief while Ruby looks at me as if I just insulted her love for cookies. "Oh, see, and you thought that we were going to be late" Yang says as she lightly elbows me. "That wasn't funny, Ruby. You shouldn't joke like that", to that Ruby quickly answers "I'm not joking! We are going wait around for twenty minutes! Are you not excited to recieve your first Pokémon!?" Well. I am really excited, but we're not even in Vale yet, I still have time to show my excitement.

I tell her that but she doesn't seem too convinced. She and Yang start talking about something while I get a little closer to the ferry, the ferry that will take me to the city of Vale.

After arriving on Vale, the only thing that's left is to get to Beacon and meet Professor Ozpin, then he will let me decide between three Pokémon, a grass type Pokémon, a fire type Pokémon and a water type Pokémon, I wonder between which I'll have to pick, I wonder which I'll choose. In the end, it doesn't matter, what matters is that I'm going to be able to make my dream come true, I'll become a Pokémon trainer, then I'll enter the gym challenge and I'm going to win all the medals nedeed in order to enter the Pokémon League, after defeating the Elite Four, I'll face the Champion and when I defeating him, I'll have everything that I've always dreamt for, and hopefully... that includes Yang.

I decide that's enough daydreaming for the day and turn around to find Yang and Ruby gone, I look around and try to find them. I spot them, they must be buying the tikets, better go see they don't mess up.

And here I am, finally publishing this chapter, I apologize to the people that might have been waiting for this.

As I said on the last chapter, which you probably don't remember because it was a while ago, any feedback is appreciated, and tell me is you find any grammar mistake and stuff like that.
