Once you and Tommy hear George announcing from the kitchen that dinner is ready, you stand up and stretch your tired body a bit. Hearing slight cracks from your back as you fix your posture. You and Tommy head over to the kitchen where there is a small dining table for eating.

The table seems to be able to fit only a couple people but George found a way to fit all of us in. Seeing the table all prepared makes it feel like a home, not just a place to live. You grab the back of the chair and take the seat in between Tommy and George.

Tommy takes the seat on your right as George comes in and sets the mac and cheese in the middle of the table. He goes to the fridge and brings out a few water bottles and places then next to our plates. "Thank you." You say. "Yeah, thanks George." Tommy chirps. "Oh its nothing really. I mean it is just from the box guys." George says. With some of the awkwardness out of the way, Tommy and George start taking some and place it on their plates.

You think about what you should do next. I mean it is only a meal, right? George interrupts your train of thought. "Hey Dream," like he wants something. You respond back with curiosity. "Yeah George, whats up?" Tommy sits there, scooping up and enjoying the warm mac and cheese on his plate.

"I know this is weird but like," he drags on. "Why do you wear your mask anyways?"

The silence fills the room. Even Tommy is quiet by this.

"Its because," you say. Figuring out how to say what you feel about the topic. You don't want to ignore it like the other times it came up with friends or family. The looming question hanging in the air between you three still awaits an answer though.

You could hear Tommy whispering to George. "George! You cant just be saying this man."

They both don't know why, and in a way you don't either. It has been a question among conversations for years. Family, friends, and even strangers wonder why.

"You don't have to answer it Dream, I was just curious about it. Sorry," but before he could say anything you chime in.

"Its because I feel normal."

"Normal at least a little bit." You go on to say.

Tommy and George glance a few times at you. Thinking about what to say. Not knowing that it is quite a personal topic. "I've been wanting to answer this question for a while, I mean others have asked it before. Yet, I never really had too much of an answer."

"I guess it had some stuff to do with my personality or something."

"I never really knew what to do about it. One day after school, I made a mask of the person I wanted to be. Over the years it turned into a comfort for me. A better person I could be, since myself wasn't fully there sometimes."

"Its a bit deep I guess." You laugh. Even though there was no joke.

"No its," George says. "It's all good with us. We are here for you Dream. We won't judge or anything and we- or at least i'm here to support in anyway possible."

"Hey!" Tommy exclaims. "No, but in all seriousness Dream. I am here for you too."

You give off a smile, even if no one could see it.

"I guess we should dig in." Tommy says.

"Yeah," George responds. "Hey Dream one more thing."

"What is it George?"

"How are you going to eat?"

Tommy facepalms his head in silence, then says "Gogy, my man!"

" I know Tommy but like, how though?" George persists.

"Its fine guys, i'm going to take it home."

"That makes sense." Tommy says.

The rest of the evening went well. Tommy and George ate dinner while you packed some for the road. Hours seemed to pass by in minutes.

Until, *knock* *knock* *knock*.

You all stopped talking about how Tommy wished that Jschlatt was still on the smp and watched George get the door. "Hello?" George said while unlocking the deadbolt.

A tall British man stands in the doorway asking for Tommy.

"Tommy?"

"Who is it George? Tommy asks.

"Tom, you cant recognize your own dads voice?" Tommy's dad says.

George steps back to let Tommy talk to his dad.

"What are you doing here? I didn't call."

"That's why. Tom, its 10pm and you got college tomorrow."

"Oh shit! Its already that late?!" Tommy exclaims.

"Yes Tom. Now get your things, its already past your bedtime."

You and George chuckle behind him. "Yeah Tommy its past your bedtime!" You laugh.
"Yeah Tommy." George giggles back. "Oh my god you two!" Tommy yells as he walks to the other room to get his bag. Tommy comes back and puts on his shoes at the entrance then walks to the door.

"Well, it was nice seeing you both. Man, what a day." Tommy says.

"I hope one day we can meet again Dream." Tommy puts out his hand. You shake it and follow up with "Yeah, it sure was fun Tommy."

Tommy says his goodbyes to George and heads on his way back home with his dad. The door shuts and you and George are alone. Alone together.
