Chapter 11

The next morning Steve walked into the kitchen/living room.

What he saw was a surprise.
"Hey JARVIS" he whispered.
"Yes Mr Rogers"
"Could you like take a picture of this and sent it to me on like a piece of paper?"
"Of course sir" Steve was still getting used to modern day technology.

In front of him was Nat laid down with Tony snuggled on-top of her like a protective koala. Since when does Nat cuddle? Sure he's accidentally walked in on them doing IT or heard them, yes they held hands, kissed the normal stuff but he's never seen them cuddle out of bed for everyone to see.

Tony started to stir so he went to the kitchen to get coffee.

After he got his coffee and the daily paper, he took a seat at the kitchen counter and waited for everyone to pile in like every day.

But instead he was startled by a loud shout or scream? It sounded like Tony! That was enough information so he ran to the living room putting his cup down and dropping the paper.

When he got there clearly the scream had awoken the others as all the avengers were in their pj's looking ready to attack.

In the middle Tony was squirming, still asleep, on Nats lap scrunching his face up and balling bunches of her shirt into fists.
Clearly he was having a nightmare.

Suddenly he shot up with a loud gasp, shaking violently. Natasha tried calming him down but that made things worse as he just jumped off her falling onto the floor hitting his head on a corner.

He was breathing heavily and whimpering. But when he looked up and saw Steve's face looking at him worried, that was it he screamed and choked out a sob before scrambling up and running down the hallway. Leaving 4 out of 6 avengers so confused and... well there isn't anything. To describe it.

"What was that..." Clint broke the eerie silent.

"You know about what happened right Clint... well turns out younger Tony was a fucking train wreck. God I-." She sighed before running her hands through her hair. Just like Tony did.

"Shit I have to go find him he's probably terrified. Steve I know you mean well but please... just stay away for now. I'm not sure what it is but he idolised you and feared you at the same time. It's something traumatic..." with that she left jogging down the hallway Tony went down trying to find him.

"What's wrong with Tony Clint... Banner I'm guessing you know too...?" When the doctor nodded Steve was genuinely a bit pissed, "so you three know what's going on, you know what happened to him!
But you won't tell me, your captain, why the hell Tony attacked us and freaked out so bad yesterday or what just happened here!?" He shouted.

"Well we were going to tell you but Nat... well she kinda-."

"Threatened us. And admit it Clint you were intimidated that's why you haven't spilled the beans."

Nat was frantically searching around the halls looking for Tony. Every nook a crany but not a sign of him anywhere.

She was supposed to be the worlds best spy, black widow for crying out loud!
How the hell could she not find a 7 year old in a 36 year olds body!?

She heard whimpering from the end of the hall and ran towards it.

Tony was there. He was curled up into a little ball terrified, fetal position with his hands grabbing his hair, face down in his knees. His body was rocking back and forth trying to calm down.

She quickly ran towards him before kneeling down so she was face to face with him.

"Hey Tones" she whispered. Slowly she reached her hand out to hold one of his.

His face shot up and his eyes were full of tears while they ran down his face.
"Tony your ok now" she whispered, slowly approaching him. He didn't see it coming so he froze when she engulfed him in a hug. Slowly she moved around so she was sat on the floor, back against the wall, while Tony was curled up in her lap crying.

I wrote this while skiving last period I was under pressure ready to run so ignore mistakes I was walking around a lot and uh sorry if it's bad other than that enjoy I have some good ideas but I need more so if you guys have any please enlighten me.
ALSO TYSM LIKE WTF THE VIEWS ON THIS ARE ROCKETING UP LIKE 3.SOMETHING K WHAT THE HELL.
