Y/n

~After her shift~

I stared at my phone. I never got Spencers number. Meaning he'd have to call me. Why hasn't he. What if this was a big joke. I sighed and plopped down on my bed. I should never have done this. I got up and opened my sock drawer. There it was.The lighter. I picked it up and tossed it around. Should I do it again? If Spencer doesn't call me, I will.

2 minutes.

5 minutes.

10 minutes.

23 minutes.

I'm gonna do it.

I put this on.

And walked out

And walked out.

My mom was passed out on the sofa, so I didn't have to deal with her. It was already fairly dark out, so most people wouldn't see me. Where should I go now? I know. The library. That's where I met spencer, and he ruined my life. I took the route that I knew would take me to the back of the building, so there was less of a chance of being seen.

Once I got there, I once again pulled out my hand sanitizer and lighter. I knew the library was mostly made of plywood, so it would be flammable.

I held the lighter in my hand. Should I really do this? My hand was shaking. I stared at the lighter.  Just at that moment, my phone rung.

"Hello?" Maybe it was Spencer.

"Y/n! I'm so sorry- I was called into work and I didn't have a chance to call or anything! If you want we can still meet?"

Spencer. His voice was like music to my ears. So he didn't forget about me.

"Yea of course! Where do you want to meet?"

"The park maybe? The one near the library?"

"Great! I'll see you there."

I decided to walk slowly, because I was only a few minutes away from the park.

Spencer

I rushed to the park. I didn't want to be late, so I had to run. The air was cold, which made it harder to breath. Once I got close enough the park, I started to walk, trying to catch my breath.

I saw y/n walking from the other side, further down from me. Perfect, I had time. I went to sit on the bench.

"Hey Spencer!"

I turned around.

It was Y/n.

"Hey!"
