I did it.
I actually did it!
I got the rental!
I started dancing around in my room for a good couple of seconds as soon as I heard the news. Its been a while since I felt that happy! I could move in in 3 weeks. 3 weeks! Can you believe that?
I quickly text my family to keep them up to date. The jobs were going a bit less smoothly though, I've had a couple of denies already just mainly because I dont speak Swedish, which is fair enough I suppose but I'll learn it soon enough.
I looked around my room and started fantasizing about the life that I could be living there, I was so close to living the dream that I could almost touch it already! But, I did have to stay sensible. Not everything was organised yet. I needed travel to get there, I wasn't sure what to bring yet, and most importantly; the money. I had some money saved up from my previous job that I planned on using to get over there, but I was really depending on getting a job as soon as I got there.
I had applied to a couple more jobs, just incase but I didn't really think that it would be a great success.
I called up my family again to discuss some things before the trip, since I wasn't quite sure what I would need and what I could just leave here.Over the span of the week, I made a list. Mutiple lists. Lists with plans, lists with goals and of course; lists with the stuff that I'd need for travel.
I had bought a suitcase before, which came in handy by now. I put on a small tune and before I could overthink what I was doing, I was packing my bags. I grabbed my clothes and did a swirl, jumped to the other side of the room and grabbed a scented candle that I had always loved. But last and certainly not least; I grabbed the picture of my parents and my sister.
I wanted to keep them as close as possible, even if I wasn't going to be physically near them. And that was it!
My suitcase was packed and I was ready!
