Yunho was seated on the couch, he glanced up when he noticed a pair of feet stop in front of him. He noticed San standing there. They were just trying to play a simple game of MarioKart and it didn't turn out well in the end. San sighed and sat down in the recliner chair.

"So, I take it they are both cooling down?" Yunho asked.

"Wooyoung's in his room. I'm not sure about Jisoo." San replied.

"She left as I was cleaning up. It's not like she would go anywhere. Maybe I should go check on her." Yunho suggested.

"Give her a little bit." San replied.

Upstairs Jisoo sat up in bed with her knees pulled close to her. She sat in the pitch black room, thinking about all that has happened since she has been in this house. She was thinking that maybe she should just avoid Wooyoung the best that she could for now. She was deep in thought when a knock on her door startled her.

"Jisoo?" Yunho called out.

"Yes?" Jisoo responded loud enough for him to hear her.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine." She called back, lying to him.

Yunho turned away from her door. He wasn't sure of her answer, but he didn't want to push her. He wondered if she was lying to him. He didn't feel right with her answer. Unknown to Jisoo, Wooyoung had been listening to Yunho speak; he barely heard her at times, but he was like this once himself.

Wooyoung paced in his room. He had been thinking about how he reacted. San was right, he did take it a smidge farther than normal; but he just didn't care for Jisoo. He just couldn't stand that the rest of the group gave her more attention than him. He was used to getting all the attention himself.

He was thinking of the best way to apologize to her. He didn't want there to be tension between the rest of the boys, just because he was refusing to accept that she was staying here. Wooyoung ran a hand through his hair and sighed in frustration. He wasn't getting anywhere. He left his room and went to their window that accessed the roof.

Wooyoung found it strange that the window was already open. Not many of the others came to sit up here. He liked it because it gave him a place to think away from everyone else. Some of the others called it his place, so if they couldn't find him in the house they knew he was up on the roof most of the time.

He propped his body out the window and hoisted himself up onto the roof. Getting up was the easier part, coming down was a little harder since you had to get your footing right to slide back into the house. He was surprised to see Jisoo sitting there with her legs pulled close to her.

Wooyoung cautiously approached her so that he could sit down. Jisoo turned her head when she heard someone coming close to her. She noticed Wooyoung and went to stand up.

"No you don't have to leave." Wooyoung spoke, stopping her in her tracks.

Jisoo was hesitant, but sat back down where she was previously. Wooyoung took a seat a little bit away from her, but close enough so they could speak without shouting to one another.

"Look, I wanted to apologize for how I've been acting. I know I have made it hard on you moving here. Um, so I was wondering if maybe you wanted to start over." Wooyoung told her.

Jisoo's eyes widened when she heard his apology. She turned to look at him. She held her breath as she was shocked to receive an apology. Wooyoung looked at her and got flustered.

"It's okay, take your time." He told her.

She let out the breath she was holding. She didn't know what to feel. Earlier that day he was so rude. They both said some hurtful things, but he sounded sincere. Jisoo made up her mind and held out her hand.

"Okay, I'm Park Jisoo. It's nice to meet you." She told him.

Wooyoung smiled and took her hand in his, "I'm Jung Wooyoung." He replied.

Jisoo gave him a small smile. She was glad they were finally able to start off on the right foot. She hoped everything would go smoothly from here.

"I'm sorry too, for everything I said earlier." She told him softly.

"It's okay, I pushed you and I shouldn't have. I was jealous." Wooyoung mumbled the last bit.

Jisoo caught the last bit, but decided not to say anything. She just noticed the two had never separated their hands. She shifted slightly, moving into a more comfortable sitting position. Wooyoung finally noticed their hands and let hers go, but something caught his eye when he pulled his hand away.

Wooyoung grabbed her hand again and pushed the sleeve of her shirt up slightly. He went on suspicion and he was right. She had a cigar burn mark on her arm. One that he was all too familiar with himself.

"How did you get this?" He questioned her.

"Uhh..." Jisoo's eyes widened again, "Um, well you see... my dad's best friend gave it to me when they were drinking." She spoke quietly.

"Is your dad, Park Kwang-su?" He asked her softly.

"Yes, that's him." She spoke.

"Is his best friend, Jung Jin-hyuk?" He asked.

All she could do was nod her head. She didn't want to speak of this. This was something she desperately wanted to forget. No one knew what happened in her house, and she wanted to keep it that way.

"Hey, look." Wooyoung spoke softly. He lifted his own sleeve exposing quite a few scars of his own. He hadn't shown anyone before.

"Our fathers are best friends." He told her.

Jisoo couldn't believe it. Mr. Jung had said he had no children, they all left with his ex-wife. Her breathing began to pick up slightly. She didn't want to think of this anymore. Her eyes began to water at the thought of her past. Arms wrapped around her pulling her into a strong chest. She didn't know how to react.

"We're out, it won't happen again." Wooyoung spoke softly.

Jisoo didn't move while he held her. She was so shocked that their pasts were connected. She never would have expected that. How long had he been keeping this to himself? How did she not notice before? She had questions flying through her mind.

Jisoo took her time, before wrapping her arms around his torso and hugged him. She never would have thought this would be how their day would be ending.

Wooyoung kept her close to him. He didn't think this was Park Jisoo that he used to play with when he was younger. From the way she reacted, he could tell she had more going on than what she wanted to tell him.

The sky grew darker as the pair sat on the roof together. They hadn't moved much as they had found some comfort, by sitting with each other. Wooyoung eventually let her go. Jisoo let her arms drop and pulled away. She was missing the warmth that Wooyoung was giving her.

"Should we head in?" Wooyoung asked her.

"Yea it's getting colder out." Jisoo replied.

Wooyoung stood up and offered her his hand. Jisoo accepted it and stood up with his help. They both made their way to the window. Jisoo slowly lowered her body down looking for the edge of the window. Once she found it, she lowered herself down and got back in the house.

Wooyoung followed after her swiftly. He shut the window behind them. Jisoo went to her door, and then turned to look at Wooyoung. The house was quiet, normally the other could be heard from downstairs if they were in the living room. Wooyoung looked at her.

"Do you want to go down and watch a movie or something? I'm not that tired." He told her.

"Sure, let me just take a quick shower. You can pick something out and I'll meet you downstairs." She responded.

Wooyoung nodded and headed off downstairs. Jisoo slipped into her room and shut the door behind her. She grabbed some clothes from her closet and headed into the bathroom.
