It's 12 am in the morning and Mina went back to her apartment. She forgot about time, she and Injun quite got caught on chit-chatting.

White cold smoke can be seen, as she exhaled air out of her lungs. Twisting the silver knob, she got greeted by someone she thought was still in a deep sleep at this hour.

Hands settled on the woman's waist, eyes seemingly wanting to close and continue a deep slumber, "Where on earth have you been, Mina." Jihyo asked.

Shivering, Mina walked passed by the girl who's not taking off the intense stare at her. "Unnie, you're awake.." maybe Mina missed today's weather forecast, she didn't know she'll tremble in coldness like this.

The door shut locked, the woman faced her.

"I'm wide awake Mina, now tell me.. where the heck did you go in the middle of the night??"

She can feel Jihyo's flaming gaze while feeling the shiver down her spine. It's a foreign feeling for Mina.

"I- unnie, it's not that-" she tried to defend herself but her stuttering got the best of her. "Just answer the question quickly, Where. Have. You. Been." Jihyo continued with a stern look on her face.

"I went to Injun's apartment." She whispered. Knowing what's coming made her quiet down afterwards.

"That bastard? Why the hell you meet up with him at this hour?"

She knew Jihyo will nag at her, but why does this one feels.. different?

Maybe because she's mad at him, because she knows that he made me cry like an idiot. Maybe. Mina silently thinks

The older continued, "Don't you know that it's dangerous outside? Plus, he cheated on you. So why?"

"I.." she pursed her lips, Something's holding her back to speak out, to tell the reason why, to continue her words.

"God! Mina! Did you know how many times i called you? But i don't know why, why you never answered. Flooded you with text messages, and still none. No replies."

Despite the cold temperature that surrounds them, her unnie's face is starting to heat up and gets red afterwards. Mina assumes it's being heat up by pure anger.

"My phone died, and there's no charging-"

"You should've told me that you're leaving! Like you always do! How.. we used to do."

"But you're sleeping." The girl reasoned.

"I don't fucking care, all i care about is-" she cutted her own statement, didn't spoke for seconds.

Until she noticed the girl who's fiddling with the hem of her clothes, and knowing Mina, just knowing the girl very, very well.. she must be terrified of her by now.

What a terrible thing to say, I don't know how long this will take. Jihyo thinks.

"Nevermind, this discussion is going nowhere. Do what you want, I'm not going to boss you around, you might've think that I'm controlling you."

What a choice of words that is. Jihyo thinks, and it's getting louder inside her mind.

"And i ain't your "boss" anyways." After that final spit of words to an argument she sparked, Jihyo found herself locking the door of her room door.

What dense engineer. Jihyo thought.

"Boss?" Mina spoke without thinking, or maybe she did think, but a different memory played in her mind at the moment she uttered the word.
