Chapter 5

As usual, Jungkook went to the comic store after hanging out with his friends after school. He parked Aegi and walked towards the entrance.

The moment he opened the door, he was directly smacked with a thick book multiple times by Daesok Ahjussi.

"YOU *smack* VERY *smack* BAD *smack* BOY!" Ahjussi kept on beating while scolding him. Jungkook could only defend himself with his arm.

"OUCH! Ahjussi stop! What did- What did I do?" Jungkook asked making Ahjussi stopped hitting him, hut still looking at him cold.

"Did you fight at school today?"

"No."

"You hurt someone?"

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I would never. Why- what happened, Ahjussi, I'm so clueless," Jungkook bewildered. Sulking while rubbing his head.

"Well, your little girlfriend came here crying," Ahjussi said.

"Girlfriend? I don't even have one."

"I'm talking about the new Japanese girl who came yesterday."

"Wait Ahjussi, how did you know we are in the same school and please, she is not my girl-"

"HAISH she told me herself yesterday! Your girlfriend is in the corner crying there. I'm not sure if she's done sobbing or not," Ahjussi was worried. Jungkook sighed. He thought Mika would cry because of the book accident in the canteen a day before, but even if Mika really cried because of that, Jungkook didn't feel bad for it at all.

"Why are you still standing here!" Ahjussi scolded Jungkook again, making him flinched.

"Umm, what am I supposed do?"

"Go to her and make her stop crying, dummy!" Ahjussi smacked Jungkook's head with the same book once more.

"Ouch! Okay, okay. I'm going," Jungkook immediately walked away while rubbing his head. He walked through the aisle one by one to find the girl, until he reached the very back of the store.

There he found her. On the floor, curling herself into a ball. Head rested on her knees, with her arms around. She barely moved, meaning she was done sobbing. There Jungkook saw one of her hand was holding the comic book he had been wanting to read.

Jungkook didn't care much about her at first. He just wanted the comic. So he grabbed a hold on the book and pulled it lightly. But to his surprise, she wasn't letting it go.

He tried pulling again, but harder this time, yet her grip was stronger. Jungkook just gave up, he understood that she didn't want to give it. He sighed again and sat beside her.

"Yah! Stop being dramatic."

No response.

"Look, this is why you don't want to expose me to my frien-" Jungkook wasn't done speaking but she replied, still with her head down.

"I dislike your friends," her reply made Jungkook  scoffed. He relaxed himself and leaned back on the wall behind him, rested his head back, eyes up on the ceiling.
