"Dear journal, today was...uneventful, as always, the same ole' routine as everyday. I walked home from school today again, because parents were too busy to pick me up...Not that it really matters anyway, my parents were always too busy to have time for me. Always saying that their work had to come first, and i was okay with that at first, but as time went on, my parents began to barely acknowledge me, they still talk to me from time to time, but i just wish they could take a break from their jobs so we could spend some time together. Or at least just check up on me, that would be nice."

I was laying in my bed, writing in my journal, it helps me write down my feelings and personal thoughts. Again as you read i assume, is that i walked home from school...again. Yeah, my life hasn't been very exciting, ever since my parents got jobs. They didn't have any time for me, makes things pretty lonely doesn't it? I looked out the window and into the stary night as i watched the world out from beyond my bedroom wall. I sighed and went back to writing.

"Why did my own parents stop putting their own kid before work? I wish that things didn't have to be like this. I wish that i had a more exciting and adventure-filled life or at least something better than this, i wish i could just start over.

I After putting in those last few words, i figured that i should just go to bed now, "better late than never" is what my dad used to tell me. I closed my journal and locked it with a key. I then place it inside my drawer and head off to the batthroom.

(Timeskip)

I just got done brushing my teeth. I walked back into my room and got settled in, not taking my clothes off. As i stare off into the endless sky above me, i began to think about my life, and how if i could've changed something to make it more eventful and make life more worth living. But it's too late now.
Before going to sleep, i muttered one last thing.

"I wish i had a better life than this."
