5.The Operation

A few month later

After one week the docters allowed Eddie to go home. He got some medicine in case he can barely breath, so he could slow down his puls and get an instant regular breath. Buck was discharged a few days earlier, because he was well after a short time.

Just a few weeks later Buck moved in in Eddies, because their relationship was now openly and theire lives were much more manageable with them living in one appartment. Buck and Eddie drive Christopher to school befor getting to work to the fire department. If one has to do a shift over regular or has a meeting, the other one takes Chris home from school and cookes for the familie. Everything was just perfect the way it was. Buck knew that and he was very happie to have found the love of his life. And he was very shure, that Eddie was this one. Beeing with him and Chris made him as happie as he never was before.

On a warm summer day in August, Buck had to drive Chris to school alone, because Eddie had a docters appointment. He reached the schoolbuilding where he was supposed to drop his boyfriends son off. The firefighter gave Christopher his schoolback and a kiss on the forhead. Then he left, to go to work. 

Immediatly after his arriveal at station 118, the bell began to rang so he got dressed up as fast, as he could and jumped into the vehicle. In there he greated his colleagues, Chimney, Bobby and Hen. They were informed that there was an accident on Buckingham Street involving several cars. There was an increased risk of fire due to leaking oil. The team of station 118 got ready. You could feel the tension inside the fire truck.

Just two minutes later, they arrived at the accident location. Buck opened the door and walked up to the policewoman standing next to her car. Athena Grant told the fire fighters everything about the imediat situation and what has to be done. The captain, Bobby Nash, shouted some instructions and everyone did as they were told. Hen and Buck got the sand, to soak the oil, while Chimney and Bobby looked for wounded patients. Everyone who was able to walk, was sent to the safezone, which has been marked by the police officers. Anyone, who was wounded or to young or old to walk, was brought to that zone. When Chimney arrived at the last car, he couldn't belive what he saw.
