Consent,
Such an easy thing right?
Just a thing that is normal to ask for.
"Are you okay with this or that?"
Consent is more than just sex.
It's asking if someone is okay with eating certain foods.
Asking if a person is okay with specific social situations you want to bring them to.
Consent is the doctor asking if you are okay with doing a few tests for research.
But why oh why do people forget 'such an easy thing'.
There are multiple ways to say no when asked.
Everyone knows that, it's basic knowledge.
Yet sometimes they aren't heard.
People forget that what they said meant no.
Or they are simple deaf because of their stupidiness.
But when they forget, they scar people for the rest of their lives.
Giving them trauma's and leaving them broken into millions of pieces.
Shattered in their hurt.
Some say it is awkward to ask for consent.
But the only way to make it awkward is if you do it yourself.
Consent is a moral thing to ask for.
Your a dickhead if you don't.
My question is, what do you do?
Do you morally ask for consent?
Make it awkward without having to?
Or do you just go forcing people around?
Hurting them over and over again.
So again,
What do you do?
