you sigh and put your phone down but you then hear a vibrating noise from you phone. you grab it and you see a message ________________________________ new messages from peter 💍🤍 hey are you awake right now?
yeah i can't sleep what's up? read at 3:37 am
are you coming to school tmrw? i have to tell you something important, in person.
uh yeah i'll be there where u wanna meet? read at 3:41 am
how about the lockers?
yeah sure! i'll be there read at 3:42 am

you turn off your phone and set it on your nightstand. your eyes begin to get heavy and you then fall to sleep.
you woke up a bit early today so you decided to get ready for school. you have no idea what peter wanted to talk about so you were kind nervous.
should i wear a hoodie? and jeans.. or shorts and T-shirt?
you just remembered that peter had let you barrow one of his shirts that read i survived my trip to NYC
you quickly grab it and spray it with your perfume.
you put on a black long sleeve then peters shirt mostly because it was big on you.

you put on some ripped jeans and went down stairs to get some cereal. while you were eating your phone dinged and you thought it was going to be peter but surprisingly it was your dad.

you roll your eyes at the text and just reply with "k"
when your all ready you grab your stuff and leave the house. when you make it to school you walk to your locker and wait for peter , not much longer you see him speed walk over. you question why he's rushing.
"uh- yeah hey y/n!"
you smile. "hey peter what did you need to tell me?"
"i- uh just wanted to uh know if maybe you wanted to like uh come to the cafe with me?" he says while rubbing his neck.
you couldn't believe it. he just asked you out.
"with ned?" you chuckle
"hah.. uh. no not this time.. just us? if that's okay with you."
you agree and he walks you to your first class.
after school you change into something more cuter but yet still casual.

you grab your phone and put it in your purse and right before you were about to leave your dad pops out of his office.
"where ya goin?"
"uh.. just to go study with a friend.." you bite your lip nervously.
"k be back soon be safe." he then walks back into his office. you leave the house locking the door behind you. the cafe you and peter are going to isn't that far away so it was like a 10 minute walk.
when you got there you see peter already sitting down at a table for 2 he looked nervous but you didn't know why.
"hey peter!"
"oh uh h-hey y/n!"
"have you ordered anything yet?" you ask while taking a menu.
"uh. no.. i was waiting for you." peter says looking at the ground.
"oh no i hope i wasn't keeping you waiting!"
"oh no.. no" he says finally looking up at you and you guys both lock eyes.
you see the waitress walks over and you and peter both look away.
"what can i get y'all today?" the waitress asks
"uh peter wanna go first?"
"sure uh.. i'll just have a tea please. thank you."
you notice peter is acting weird then you thought you should bring it up
"i'll have a tea too please thank you ma'am."
the waitress walks away and you look at peter, he was just looking around. the silence was killing you.
"peter what's wrong?"
"oh.. uhm." he says still looking around and playing with his fingers. "i like you y/n! like LIKE you like you."
your mouth drops and it felt like the room became silent.
