Fresh start

(the airplane microphone goes off) we will be landing in los Angeles shorty. Finally it feels like i've been on this plane for forever, I look out the window and i can see all the beautiful buildings and the lights in the night sky , i'll probably get to my new apartment around 10:30 ish. The plane lands i struggle to fit through the crowd of people trying to get off the plane, i finally get out of the plane and get into the air port. " i can't wait to see what this place has in store for me" i sigh happily and get moving to baggage claim. I get my luggage and start to head out to find Avani, i look down at my phone to see if she texted me but as i looked up i bumped into this guy. Our bags fall on the floor, i'm in shock and embarrassment " i'm so so so sorry, i wasn't paying attention" i felt so bad. I look at him he pays no attention and grabs his bags and he looks at me face to face, HOLY SHIT he's so hot ; now i'm really embarrassed. "watch out next time" he grunts and walks away. okay well he didn't have to be a dick about it, i said i was sorry but he was so hot with his curly hair and his hazel eyes and he looked pretty strong too. I shake myself off and head to the pick up area hopefully Avani is here. i check my phone:

    i  can't wait tell her about the duchbag i just met. I step out the airport and take a deep breath. " hopefully this place will be different" i let out a big sigh and wait for Avani, i feel a something graze against my left shoulder. i quickly look and it's the guy agian, jeez can i not get a break. He looks towards me and we make eye contact for a couple seconds, " you gonna take a picture or something?" he says annoyed, this was my last straw i wasn't gonna put up with this bullshit " the last time i checked your the one that stood next to me jackass" i say with a smirk on my face, he looks shocked that i would stand up for myself, " last time i checked your the one that bumped in to me because your to busy on your phone" he looks more annoyed then angry. " i said i was sorry and i was checking if my ride was here. before he could say anything avani pulls up " oh looks like you guys already met, hop in" she says with a grin on her face. Oh shit this is vinnie, well i guess i gotta deal with him for a little bit. As i walk up to the passengers side he pushes me out the way and sits in the front seat. Cmon keep your cool it's just a seat, go sit in the back. No need to waste your breath on him, i open the back door and place my bag next to me. He tosses his stuff back, almost hitting me, "HEY be careful, jeez vin we got y/n back there!" avani spits out, " yeah yeah, let's just get going" It takes 20 minutes to get to the restaurant, on our way there i look out the window to see all the stores and admire how the lights glow in the night sky. We finally get there, "Bo steakhouse, it sounds good" i say quietly. We all go out of the car and get in, the second we get in all eyes are on us, whispers from the people sitting down and darting eyes. We get our seats and relax, our seats are right next to the window. Out front they have dangling lanterns, and seating out front. " jeez can't go anywhere without people staring at us, am i right vin?" Avani says slyly, " yeah it sucks, we're not even really celebrities. can't go anywhere with people making a seen" he still sounds annoyed. The water comes up and gets us drinks and then leaves to go tend another table. Not even a few seconds later a group of girl come up to our table, " Omg vinnie hacker, can we please take a picture with you?" they all looks nervous, he looks at them and flashes a quick smile " Yes ofc" wtf did i just witness, is this the same guy i met at the airport ? he just completely changed his persona. They take there photo and go back to there table squealing like little girls. We eat our food, Avani carrying most of the  conversations, i'm too tired to even put much effort in. We pay and then go back into the car, i don't know how she has so much energy still " Avani how tf do u have so much energy still? i chuckle " Oh don't worry that will kick in soon, with all the stuff that happens at night you'll be an night owl right before you know it" she gives me a big ol grin. She's been apart of my life ever since highschool, she's always been there for me. We get to my apartments " Thanks for the food and ride Avani, it was nice meeting you vinnie" i give avani a warmfull smile and i give sir jerckface a sarcastic smile. But as i got out so did he, " oh silly me did i forget to mention, you guys live in the same apartments" avani says. Just my luck, " small world am i right ?" i say awkwardly  " yea" he grunts. We grab our stuff and go inside, we go inside the elevator together. I press floor 5, he doesn't press a button, FUCK me jeez we live on the same floor too. We stand in complete silence the whole way up. My apartment is all the way down the hall, as i walk toward the end of the hall he still follows me. Wtf i was hoping he would of been somewhat far away from me. I get to my room, and look to him and he is ofc my fucking neighbor, great. i head in and go into my nearly empty room, all i have is a mattress and a few pillows. I toss my bag into the corner and look out my bug window looking over the city. I flop on my bed and pass out.
