Convincing

It was a normal day at Campbell high, students going from one class to another, but this day specifically was special, because it was a week before what they call here in Campbell high 'The Last Show'.

Its basically just this huge school event in which students can 'show they're talents off' in before this years 12 graders leave, you would think people who were 14-18 would have good talents to show off, but these past few years have been proving that saying wrong, going from people playing the flute, to people burping the abc's.

The people who kind of 'run' this show are the band and theater club student captains:

Theater:Indigo Casp (in-dig-oh)
and
Band:Fabian Casp (faye-bee-an)

You see reverie was once in band and theater, she was a bad ass at playing the bass, drums, normal guitar, ukulele, and piano, but was even better at singing, every time the school had a musical, she was always the lead, her voice was said to have this rasp in it that just touched parts of people's ears that they didn't know they had, that was until she quit, both band and theater, no one has heard her sing or play any instrument since, no one knows why, because when they ask all she replies with is
"I just got bored of it".

And since she was considered 'the-best-of-the-best', the duo where constantly, for the past 2 years since she quit, trying to get her to play for the show, and it just got more annoying for the young girl when the duo found out she had been writing a new album.

"Oh come onnn~~ it's not like you don't have anything to sing, you have that album!!!" Says Fabian, sprinting up to reverie, as she had just started walking faster when she saw the duo trying to approach her, you can guess what for,

"Yeah~~ even if it's bad you'll make up for it with your voice-" says indigo, but is quickly shoved by fabian,

"What the- what was that for you dick!-" says indigo shoving him back,

"That's not gonna make her wanna sing for the show anymore you idiot! Its in a month so we need to convince her as early as we can!" Says Fabian shoving her back, this continued on for a long time, giving reverie enough time to just walk away with her back pack mounted on her shoulder, and some headphones in blasting 'the neighborhood'.

-Present Time-
*No one POV*

It was a normal day in reveries house, she was alone in her basement playing the bass, meanwhile her dad was at work and was probably coming home until 4:00 am.

She was just strumming her light purple bass, when suddenly she got a call from someone she was least expecting to call,

Her old friend, Grayson, Grayson used to live with reverie as an exchange student from Virginia, and there was only one reason he could be calling right now,

And that's to call in, The Favor.

"Hey Rev."says boy from Virginia,

"Hey. I've never had you call me since you moved back, are you perhaps here to call in,,, The Favor??" Asked reverie, a bit confused on why he was calling her,

You see, ever since Grayson had moved into reveries house at the ripe age of 11, they were best friends, and had made a promise to protect each other at all costs, resulting in them giving each other one big favor, they could call it in whenever, it could be anything, and just because of the promise they made, they had to do it, regardless of what it was,

Neither of two teens had called in any of they're favors in years, so hearing Grayson suddenly call just to ask for the favor, this favor had to be important.

"Indeed I am, you see your friends called me, they offered me 1,011, which is a really odd number, of money to call you and tell you to sing for one of they're little shows, I honestly have no idea what that's about but that's a whole lotta he cash, and I'm kinda broke sooo,,, I guess what I'm saying here is, Reverie Finley Sage, I am calling in my favor, that favor being for you to preform at your former friends Fabian Casp, and Indigo Casp's school show."
Said Grayson, you could tell he was being serious by the way his voice got even more monotone when he asked the favor,

Reverie sighed before talking,
"Hmm,,, And your one-hundred-percent sure this is what you want?" Says reverie in an equally monotone voice,

"Yep." I mean, he sounded pretty serious, so the only thing Reverie has left to do was oblige,

"Hm. Ok, I Reverie Finley Sage, will preform at my classmates, Fabian Casp, and Indigo Casp's school show."says reverie, hesitating a little at first, but still going thru with it.

"If that was all you wanted I'll be taking my leave how, bye purp." Says reverie using the nickname she gave Grayson when they were 12 due to pouring purple Kool-aid on his hair, which staind for months, resulting in Reverie calling him either Purpled-and or-Purp during the whole month, what she didn't know was that he was now going by purpled online and was very successful, streaming as purpled and all.

"Bye river."
