☆ "Bored..."
The gloomy moonlight was shining through the silent apartment, revealing the thousands of dust particles of the unkempt bedroom. Papers laid everywhere in messy piles, astray, in a way you couldn't even call organized chaos.
"Bored!"
About four empty soda cans and several candy wrappers laid next to an overflowing trash can. Notebooks were strewn about on tables, and the only person in this chaotic room was a purple-haired girl who laid in bed restless.
"Boooooooooored!" the young girl cried, rolling back and forth on her unmade covers. She turned over to face the ceiling, staring with dazed eyes into the wall up above. "Lame. Everything is so, so lame. I could really use another dark chocolate right about now," despite there being no one else around, the young college student, Kai, continued her conversation. With a stretch, she forced herself up out of bed, grabbing her phone to get a glimpse at the time.
"What the, 2:15? Oh my god, that's not even late!" throwing her phone aside, Kai began to pace around her room with no thoughts, and yet, her mind was racing. A storm of jumbled up, unfinished images were plaguing her mind. She quickly sat at her desk, crumpling up papers carelessly.
"Failing grade, failing grade, oh, almost passed that one. Ughhhhhh," her head fell onto the desk with a loud thunk. "Ow," Kai spoke seconds later in the silence, listening as not even a ticking clock would sound. Suddenly, as if possessed by a powerful rage, the girl stood up from her desk chair and pounded her fist onto the table.
"I need to flipping do something, and NOW!" she cried, rubbing her forehead cautiously with her hand. Then, quite jarringly, her voice and expression changed as someone else spoke.
"You know, Akira isn't here today," said the voice in a dark tone. This person speaking chuckled mischievously. "He had to stay at his house today, right?"
"Uh, yeah?" Kai responded, unbothered by her sudden personality change. With a slight twitch, the change happened once again.
"Well, it's been a while since we've done something for us," the other person spoke slyly, however, Kai wasn't quite understanding.
"Where are you going with this, X?"
"Jesus christ, you dense fuck. I'm saying let's go do something chaotic, y'know, like we always used to do," X explained with a sigh. "Why are so stupid?" that's when a more childlike voice sounded at the TV head's suggestions.
"We can't do that!" cried the younger voice. "Akira told us not to go out without him knowing. He'll get upset if we do!" Kai frowned when she remembered the wishes of her best friend. Akira was younger than her, but always tried to make sure she stayed out of trouble, and yet, causing trouble didn't sound too bad of an idea to her. As the other two voices began to scream back and forth in her head, Kai desperately tried to look for a compromise.
