We woke up the morning after tangled in the sheets with clothes scattered everywhere on the ground.

"How are you feeling?" San asks me.

"Great, how about you." I say to him.

"I'm feeling nice." He starts. I had a good time with you last night, I've wanted to go out with you for a while but never had time."

I smile at him.

"I'm happy it finally worked out." I lay my head on his chest.

"Sorry my dad is such a pain. It's almost impossible to leave the mafia so I couldn't do it even if I tried. Plus my dad wouldn't allow it but I would do anything I could for us to be together." He holds me close.

"Mafia or not, I wouldn't let anything tear us apart." I assure him.

He smiles at my words.

Just then, his phone rings.

"Is it your dad again?" I ask him.

"Yeah, I guess I shouldn't complain since I had the whole day off yesterday." He shrugs.

He answers the call and walks out of the room.

I wonder what they talk about.

He shortly comes back in the room.

"Do you have to go out again?" I ask him.

"If I want cash then yeah. There's another guy I was selling to and he wants more drugs. I can split the cash with you if you want." He explains.

"No, no. I couldn't take the money." I refuse but he insists.

"We could go shopping again and if the police or anyone questions it, it'll all fall back on me and my dad. You'll be out of it I promise."

"Okay. I guess I could." I finally agree.

"Great, now come with me." He drags me off the bed.

I gasp at his sudden actions but then get myself dressed whilst he does the same.

We head out to find the guy but instead of a dark alley way, it's someone's house.

"Okay, we're here." He says. "You should stay in the car, unless you want to come in."

"I think i'll pass, it's safer in here anyways." I say to him.

"Alright, then." He pecks my cheek. "I'll be back in a bit."

I watch as San pulls out a bag from the trunk and walks into the guys house.

For visuals, the guy's house is pretty big. He must have a lot of money himself.

Maybe he buys from San and sells them.

I see San take a huge amount of money and places it into his bag.

He jogs back over to the car and let's himself in.

San throws the bag into the back seat and speeds off.

"How did it go in there." I ask him.

"Smoother than I expected." He says with a smirk. "As promised, you'll get your half of it."

"San," I start. "One day, can I start helping you on missions?"

He looks at me with a surprised look.

"Of course you can! You could've today but you told me you didn't want to." He says.

"Yeah, i'm afraid to be near drugs incase the police do get involved." I say.

"Diana, when you're around me, you're already around drugs."

He holds up cocaine and waves it around and me.

I hit his chest.

"Choi San, put that away before you get us pulled over." I yell at him.

"Calm down, I was just teasing you." He laughs putting away his illegal drugs. I roll my eyes.

We drive for a while but instead of turning to the hotel he turns a different way.

"Where are you taking me?" I try not to sound scared.

"Relax, Im just taking you out to practice your skills." He says.

"What skills?" I ask.

"I'm teaching you things you need to know since you're interested in joining the mafia. You're already adjusting well." He smiles.

"I don't know about this." I shake my head.

"You got this, Diana." He stops his car. "I know you're gonna freak out but I have a gun and you're gonna learn how to shoot with it by aiming at these trees."

"There is no way i'm touching that thing." I lean back in the seat.

He grabs my hand and pulls me out of the seat.

"My dad used to take me here when I was younger and now i'm taking you." He leads me deeper into the woods. "Now, grad the gun here and aim at where you want to shoot."

I slowly place my hands on the weapon and aim it at a tree close to me.

I pull the trigger and shoot.

Startled, I jump back at the sound of the gun.

"You did great!" He smiles at me, now holding my waist from behind.

We stay in the woods shooting for a few hours until we hear sirens.

"Aw, man." I whisper under my breath.

"Come on, let's get into the car before they get closer." San leads me back to his car.

I quickly get into the car, strapping myself in with my heart racing.

What would happen if we got caught?

San throws the gun into the back seat after unloading it and speeds off.

"Someone must've called the cops after hearing the gun." He tells me. "I'm taking you back to the hotel, don't worry. I just need to be sure they're gone before we go."

He drives all around the city making sure no one is following behind us and we arrive at the hotel.

We quickly get to our room without looking suspicious.

San locks the door and sighs.

"We're lucky to have gotten away." He walks over to hug me.

I wrap my arms around him afraid to let go.

I was still frightened from hearing the police and still shocked that I actually shot a gun.

Maybe joining the mafia wasn't too bad.

Maybe I was underestimating them this whole time.

Maybe I really like the adrenaline rush when you feel like you're about to get caught doing something you know you shouldn't.

Or maybe I just like being beside San at all times.

Whatever it was, after today, I didn't plan on stopping these violent actions.

I knew this is what my life was going to be and this is what I wanted.
