welsh coal

toby the in flames engine

we woke up to see people yelling someone or something had took the long line of coal cars and derailed them there was also a large fire but the men put the fire out quickly. we didn't know who did it. we where low on coal and we didn't wanna risk going to a hopper so the men spent 2 hours lifting all the trucks and picking up the coal. after they did that we fulled are bunkers and set off. we keep the fires down as low as possible to not draw any attention to us. we saw nothing only dead trees mutated and dead trucks. we decided we would all head to tidmouth sheds if engines where to be anywhere it would be there. what a surprise while Percy and Henry where puffing down the line we saw in a siding we saw a truck but not just any truck. the truck ended up being the s.cruffy car that belonged to the blast company that was near tidmouth that shut down. he wasn't harmed at all but he was a bit scared. we just took him and started heading down to tidmouth. when we got to tidmouth it was deserted no engines a lot of fog and no rolling stock. we saw some cow catcher from distance but it was to hard to see. we deiced to go check around the area be four heading to the sheds. we checked around and we found a crashed engine. one of the engines side said splatter and was could see parts of a fuel tanker and his front was gone on the ground. the next engine was so badly burned and ripped apart we could barely tell who it was but we could make out the word 'dodge' Henry thought they smashed into some fuel tankers. we deiced to keep looking just in case we find someone. we headed to the sheds and we could not believe what we saw. when we got there we saw Toby. or well what was left of him. Tobys front of him was burned off there was only cow catchers left of him. we found some more wood and we found his fire box that was cut in half and a lot of blood there was also some fire still there. Percy thought he blew up. i took my hat off and put it on Toby. so did everyone else we all had a moment of silents for Toby. when we where done we took are hats back and we all went and grabbed a dandy lion and we put it on Toby. after that we heard crying from the goods shed near by. we walked over there and we saw Henrietta crying. we already knew why she was. we decided to asked her what happen and this is what she told us. she told us that Toby shunted her into the yard and Toby went to go fill up with coal. but after he did he started screaming he was screaming 'IM GONNA EXPLODE MY BOILER' Henrietta said 'NO TOBY YOU CANT GO LIKE THIS TOBY NO' be four Toby exploded he said to Henrietta 'i love you Henrietta ill never forget you goodbye Henrietta' then he exploded. Henrietta broke down crying after Toby exploded. peter (Henry fireman) told us maybe he exploded because his boiler could not handle the welsh coal. we decide to take Henrietta with us. we also saw a closed shed door but we just thought that when Toby exploded that something hit the door closing it. we walked over to open it but what we saw in the shed shocked us. when we opened the shed door we saw Oliver the great western engine inside. we where all shocked and asked him what happen. Oliver told us that he was shutting at the yards and he decided to sleep at tidmouth sheds and not go back to the little western. he went to the sheds to go to bed around 7:30 pm and his driver and fireman left for the day. later he heard toby come home. and he heard screaming outside and a large BANG. he could not see anything throw the little windows but he manged to get some sleep. the next day at about 5 pm he heard two engines yelling and something chasing them then he heard a large bang.  but it wasnt alot. hes been stuck in this shed for about 3 days and his crew have not came back for him. one of the men knew how to drive a train. and so did someone else. so they got into Oliver and we started heading back. when we got back we shunted oliver next to annie and clarbell oliver and s.c.ruffy talked for and bit and henry and percy filled him in. we need to find the fat controller and ask him what happened we need to also get of this island its not safe here
