You are a vessel, a creature created by the union of void and god, and, as a vessel, you do... vessel.... stuff, such as
(Some things are different from the original game because they're adapted to fit the story):

• Focus: you concentrate to absorbe stuff (it's the way you eat) or heal through the usage of souls (energy that you obtain by beating/killing others);

• shade soul: you use some souls to free a powerful shadow that hurt the enemy (uses soul);

• abyss shriek: you release some screaming spirits above you, that's how you'll scream most of the time (uses soul);

• shade cloak: you dash, becoming void for a bit, can travel through thin obstacles;

• crystal heart: you create pink crystals around you that give a decent amount of propulsion, good for long distances;

• descending dark: a powerful dash towards the ground, can destroy fragile structures with ease (uses soul);

• mantis claw: let you grip on stuff, good for climbing;

• monarch wings: a pair of white insect-like wings, too small for long flights, good for short distances and for gliding.

You'll mainly have two weapons:

•nail: an old broken nail, in need of repairing. Can't deal a lot of damage;

•dream nail: used to enter people's mind, mainly their dreams and sometimes nightmares too, and to teleport, in exchange of an essence (dream nail "fuel").

You also go through various stages:

• normal: all the void is inside of the "body shell" and has full control. Can't infect others with the void;

• void given form: your body start to break its shell letting void to fill the spots, you can extend that void into tendrils. Beware: you can infect others with the void, but not in a significant way;

• void given focus: Shade lord, you have almost no control of this form, highly dangerous and destructive. Attention: can infect others with void, lethal.

A creature created to defeat an ancient moth deity to save the kingdom of Hollownest. But there's now no used for that since Little Ghost, the knight had defeated tha Absolute Radiance in the Godhome during the pantheon of Hollownest.
(The story will take place after the "Delicate flower" ending and the extra ending "Passing of the Age" of Hollow knight and in the first season of Mha to continue in the serie)
