Grade School

Chapter 2:

Little Sana is so frightened to let go of her mother's hand

Because it's her first day in school and she is not familiar with the place since she is transfer

she is afraid that people might not like her or harm her when her mother leaves her

"Sweety, you can do it okay? Don't be scared" Sana's mother trying to convince her

"But mom what if they won't like me? What if they hurt me?" Sana said and her tears are beginning to form

"They won't, if they will I never forgive them," Sana's mother said "and mommy will do everything to make them pay" Sana's mother chuckled

"But harming someone else is bad right?" Sana said to her parents

"Aww, my baby is such a smart girl. Always remember this hurting a person physically is bad if they didn't do anything to harm you. But if they hurt you. You need to fight back because they will always bother you or repeat what they do to you if you will always let it slide" Sana's mother said, "I know you can deal with this baby, you're very good girl can you make mommy proud?" Sana's mother said

Sana nod cheerfully

"Good! I will see you later sweety I love you!" Sana's mother peck a kiss on Sana's head

"Bye, mom! I love you too take care!" Sana waved her hand and run to her classroom where her mother walked her earlier but she is afraid so they came back to the parking lot

"G...good morning T...teacher, S...sorry I am late," Sana said lowering her head

"You must be Minatozaki Sana? Come in" her teacher held her hand smiling at her motioning inside the classroom

There are a lot of new faces Sana saw but there is a certain face that made Sana smile and forgot that she is nervous

"Sana-yah!" Jihyo yelled at her and waved her hands to her

Sana automatically smiled huge and waved her hand to Jihyo

"You already have a friend?" Sana's teacher asked

"Yes teacher, Jihyo is my neighbor and my playmate, oh! And I promised to her that she will be my best friend forever" Sana excitedly shared a story to her teacher

Her teacher chuckled because of Sana's cuteness

"That's good! But please introduce yourself to your other classmates I am sure they all want to be your friends too" Sana's teacher said

"Hello! My name is Minatozaki Sana, nice to meet you all" Sana bowed her head and smiled at them

"Hi, Sana!" Her classmates said

"You can seat with your friend Jihyo over there," Sana's teacher said Sana nodded and walked to her best friend

"Sana! We are classmates" Jihyo excitedly said and hug Sana

"Yes we are, we are neighbors, playmates,  best friend, now we are classmates! Wow! " Sana said clapping her hands but interrupted when their teacher started to teach them how to read

"What snack did you bring?" Jihyo asked Sana

They are sitting on a small bench far from other students since Sana still shy and afraid of other people

Little Jihyo understood because Sana is new to their city

"My mom prepared me cookies and milk she also gave me jellies, do you want some?" Sana pushed her snack box to Jihyo

Jihyo clapping her hands and took a bite of cookies

"My mom doesn't want me to eat cookies because I ate a lot of chocolate yesterday she said I will have a toothache, so she prepared me fruits instead," Jihyo said and showed her snack box

"Wow, berries! Can I have some?" Sana asked while her eyes are sparkling at the sight of the food

"Yes of course here!" Jihyo gave her snack box to Sana and they exchanged snacks

Happily and satisfied

"Do you have other friends here?" Sana asked while her mouth is full

"Yes I have, her name is Nayeon and Jeongyeon but they are absent today" Jihyo answered her

"Btw, do you have friends back in Osaka Japan?" Jihyo asked

"Yes, they are Mina and Momo" Sana answered and lower her head "I miss them" Sana pouted

Little Jihyo stand up and seat beside Sana and hug her

"Don't worry, you can befriend Nayeon and Jeongyeon too. They are good friends and funny, although they fought sometimes, no I mean most of the time." Jihyo chuckled 

"Anyway, it will be for the meantime and when we get older you could travel back to your house in Osaka and meet your friends again" Jihyo trying to cheer up her best friend

"But I am scared what if they don't like me anymore? Because I left them?" Sana said to Jihyo and worried is visible in her eyes

"They will like you! Because you're a good friend and you're my best friend right?" Jihyo said to Sana

The latter nod at her and they hug each other. They continue to eat their snacks and go back to their classroom

"Sweety!" Sana's mother spread her arms when she saw Sana walking outside their school holding Jihyo's hand

"Mom!" Sana run to her mom and hug her

"How's school? Did you have fun?" Sana's mom asked, "oh Hi Jihyo!" Sana's mother greeted the little Jihyo who is looking around

"Hi, Mrs. Minatozaki!" Jihyo waved her hand

"School is great mom, Jihyo is my classmate, I had fun! A lot!" Sana enthusiastically said to her mother, she gazes at her best friend who is still looking around

"Hey Jihyo, are you alright?" Sana asked

"Yes, it's just that my mom is still not here" Jihyo pouted

"Mom, can we drive Jihyo home? Since she is just our neighbor?" Sana asked

"Of course we can, but let asked Jihyo first okay? Jihyo do you want to come with us? We can drive you home after we ate ice cream that I promised to Sana earlier" Sana's mother said and a wink to Sana who is now giggling

"Does it mean I can have ice cream too?" Jihyo asked smiling closing her hand together

"Yes! But let me call your parents first to inform them okay?" Sana's mother said

Jihyo nodded and smiled at her best friend Sana

Mrs. Minatozaki walked a light further from the kids and call Jihyo's parents.

"We will have an ice cream yehey!" Sana said to her best friend.

"Yes!!! Can I have chocolate ice cream?" Jihyo asked

"Of course! I will tell to my mom" Sana said

"Let's go kids?" Mrs. Minatozaki said

"Does my mom agree?" Jihyo asked

"Yes Jihyo" Sana's mother looked at Jihyo sadly but pushed it away when she saw how happy the two kids in front of her

"I wish your parents see how happy you are, and how brave their daughter is. Sadly they are busy" Sana's mother thought
