"You're leaving!?" Marinette asked out loud as she looked at her parents. They nodded their heads in unison.

"We'll only be gone for the weekend Marinette, I trust that you and your friend Alya will be fine for the time being?" Her mother asked as she looked from Alya to Marinette. Alya nodded, smiling dearly at Marinette's parents.

"I know Ms.Sabine and Mr.Tom, no boys, no parties, and no going out after ten." Alya said, glancing from Marinette's parents to Marinette.

" But mom-."

"No buts, we'll be back by Monday. It should be enough time for you to have you're much needed girl talk with Alya, am I right?" Her mother asked. She had noticed that Marinette had been looking very gloom the past few days. She had tried to get it out of her, but Marinette wouldn't budge.

So, she asked Tom if they could go spend the weekend around town and away from home, just so they could give their daughter some much needed emotional release.

"Here's some money so if you guys want a girl's day or anything you can do it," her mother placed the money in Alya's hand, trusting her with it more then Marinette. She knew that Marinette would spend that all in a giffy is she really wanted to, "and don't forget to call us if you have any problems, we'll be back on Monday sweetie, I love you!" Marinette's mother placed a kiss on her baby's cheeks before leaving the door.

"I love you too, mama." Marinette said back softly.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do bud, I love you." Her dad said softly before turning around with her his wife and exiting the bakery.

"What the actual-." Alya started.

"Fuck is going on?" Marinette ended the question.

The two girls went up to Marinette's room, and since Marinette's parents were no longer home, the Kwami's were sent free. They quickly began to fly around the room with a lot of energy as they tried to ignore Marinette's hands which were trying to catch them.

Alya rubbed her temples after a while, but then grabbed her hands friend's and made her sit down. It was interrogation time since she knew that her friend liked to keep everything bottled inside.

If Alya could help it, she would get her to shed some well needed tears.

"Kwamis, be quiet and listen." Alya said, which quickly shut up the flying creatures that were around the room. "Now, Marinette. Spill." Was the only words she said.

"Spill what?" Marinette rubes the back of her neck as she asked her best friend what she meant.

"You're hiding something from me, now tell me what it is or I will drag it out of you!" Marinette knew her friend was serious, so she began to tell her the story of her and Chat noir.

After many weird looks that Marinette was receiving, she finally finished her story to her best friend. Alya was very confused, but also excited about the story Marinette had just told. To her, it seemed like Marinette had a much more complicated love life then she let on.

"So you just... let him go?" Alya asked as Marinette nodded. "I think what you did makes sense..."

"Thank you!"

"In you're own head." Alya finished, glancing up at her best friend, "You two clearly recognized you're feelings for eachother, but it seems that you were overthinking everything." Marinette rolled her eyes.

"We're heroes, he's a hero. We do not know each other's identities so it wouldn't work." Marinette stated stubbornly.

Alya nodded her head, not wanting to deal with her friend's stubborn attitude. She changed the subject, asking her best friend about the relationship between her and Adrien.
